Just what I needed for a small job.

Could be better quality

These brushes are a very nice quality and allow me to paint clean, straight lines. Very satisfied.

The long bristles on this pinstriping brush set take up a lot of paint and then allow you to do a long line. This was a good price on the set of brushes. I am using this for painting when making art.

I have been debating on buying these for weeks and finally decided that I wanted to give them a try. The paintbrushes are not full size, most of the bristles are damaged and the amount of fall out was more than any brush I have ever bought (even cheap crap brushes). I hate leaving negative reviews but these really are that awful. Don’t bother buying synthetic quills/pinstripe brushes because you will have everything going against you. Sending these back today.

These are great brushes. I used them with gouache paint, but they would work well with any type of paint. The range of shapes and sizes of strokes make the brushes very versatile. They can make very thin lines for precision or a thick leaf shape with one stroke. The bristles are a good quality and I’ve only had a couple of the hairs fall out of them since several uses.

Terrible quality

These brushes hold a lot of water! You can paint a long, thin line with them, especially the dagger-shaped #2 brush. While the bristles are pretty thick, they come to a sharp point. If you're careful to stay on that point, you can get a really long thin line.I like the fact that the handles are short, as that makes them more suitable for my portable watercolor kit for sketching on the go.The negatives? Not much. There were a few loose bristles when I took them out, but I haven't had any other loose ones since then. The protective plastic tube on the #2 brush is a bit loose, and falls off easily. It says something when these minor points are the only complaints I can come up with.

The bristles fall out which defeats the purpose of pin-striping brushes. The fibres and weak and dry and lack the spring needed for them to be effective. Price is reflective of the quality
