FABULOUS...I have 8" gutters and couldn't find a roofer to put on gutter guards without spending thousands of dollars...this does do a great job

The majority of my house has standard 5 inch gutters with expanded metal covers on it, but where I have a screened in patio there is a 7-inch super-gutter with one edge that won't accept a gutter cover.So this gutter brush helps prevent that section from having its downspouts plugged by leaves. Some leaves blow across the brush and fall to the ground, some leaves get stuck on edge in the brush and slowly break down. Beneath the brush water flows along with broken-down debris that can flow through the downspouts no problem.These gutter brushes are most commonly used on commercial buildings. They are easy to drop in or take out for maintenance. Depending on the angle you look up at the gutters, you will probably see the top whiskers sticking up, which some people won't like.Overall, my preference would have been a gutter cover, but this solved a problem where gutter covers would not work, and it wasn't visible in this one location. So there is a place for these, but it's not every place.

I recently built a red iron commercial building with the manufacturer's gutters. These gutters were 7"x7" so I ordered the 7 inch brushes, once installed, they by no means properly fit nor filled the gutters to protect leaves and debris from entering. There was WAY to much play room. I went back and ordered the 8 inch brushes and they fit perfectly, you can just tell by looking at them, that they will stop debris. Now I have to figure out how to return 130 feet of unusable 7 inch brushes. I would strongly recommend the 8 inch if you have 7x7 gutters.

I ordered the samples. All were too big. If all sizes sold were in sample kit it would be easier to make decision to purchase product. Because it seems to be a good product that would work in our ground drain gutter.
