Keeps food from falling in grease trey

This “blocker” seems well made with a simple design that works. The “screen” is made of sturdy metal that should hold up well to repeated heating. The “blocker” allowed grease to drain and prevented small items such as chopped onions from falling into the grease pan. During the first use one of the magnets came unglued from the “blocker”. I reached out to the seller asking for information on fixing the issue and they said that they are working on improving the attachment of the magnets and offered to replace the one I have with a new one when they are available. They also gave me a suggestion for how to fix the current one until then. I’m happy to work with a company that stands behind their products.

It's good quality, holds up to high heat, easily moved while grilling.This is one of those things I thought I needed and now I realize it's kind of pointless for the types of food I cook on the griddle. I still have it on, but I could have done without it. Can't knock the product for that, but I would be willing to be you don't really need this either. I got caught up in the youtubers recommending all the unnecessary blackstone accessories.

As a Blackstone newbie, I'm still honing my food flipping skills. After flipping 3 shrimp out the debris hole, I knew there had to be a solution. This well-made little gizmo is the answer! Two small magnets hold it firmly in place, yet it slides easily out of the way with a gentle push of a spatula. Hope someday I won't need this, but for now, it allows me to focus on my 2-fisted spatula food flips, without worry.
