Great item just a little difficult to fit but it does give great tension

Good gate spring but I returned it as too small for what I needed.

I wish I had bought this sooner. I was at the end of my tether with delivery people leaving my gate openand letting the dogs out. I have THREE notices on the gate asking to please shut the gate as dogs loose to no avail. Now the gate shuts on its own with this strong spring. Was an easy fit a couple of screws and job done. You can adjust the tension to what you need to get the gate to close automatically. Very happy with it.

I no longer have gate closure anxiety!

Screws that came are thick and are hard to strip. Just followed the instructions that are supplied on the product’s page and it only took me 5 minutes despite not using a drill. It came with a spare metal rod just in case it falls out, however, I glued mine. Spring tension is really good considering the slight hill the gate is on. Great value for money overall.

Pretty straightforward & does the job, but the holding pins that maximise the tension tend to fall out, so make sure you keep the spare (provided) in a safe place!

If you have heavier gate you need to get the spring very tight.The pin provided is not long enough to get enough leverage.

Brought this as despite having a close the gate sign had a few delivery guys leave the gate wide open for our dog to get out, this has been an absolute game changer and piece of mind. Easy to fit but took a while to realise you have to put the peg in then turn and repeat to keep the tension but once that sorted, fantastic. Seen on previous reviews that the peg kept coming out so hammered it just not slot and we have had closure a few weeks now and no issues. Well recommend
