Create Your Style with Swarovski Elements Hot Fix Tool

This little tool is so much fun to work with! I've used it on 4 pairs of satin shoes, and it has performed exactly as expected. I've used Swarovski HOTFIX crystals each time, so I can't comment on how it would work with any other glue-backed crystals. There was a little gumming the first time I used it, so I used a thin fabric pin to unstick the crystals from the tip of the applicator. There is a little slot on the side of the tip that works for unsticking the hot crystals. The applicator comes with 7 different sizes of tips that fit the standard sizes of crystals. The stand is a little lightweight, but it's fine. It would be nice if the stand had a no-skid base to prevent slippage, but it's okay. The applicator heats up and cools down quickly, similar to a glue gun.Great little tool! Lots of fun to use.

It took a little while to get used to working with this tool. It works perfectly with swarovski, not as well with the less expensive hot fix crystals, but it gets better with practice. The less expensive hot fix crystals kept sticking to the tool, keep a sharp pin handy to get it out.

Works very well. Had 700 crystals on in about 7 hours total. Nothing has fallen off yet but haven't washed my competition suit to which i affixed the crystals. I used swarovski crystals as well.

Never having used anything like this, I was nervous. The gown I bought was fairly dark. I decided to add crystals to the very expensive dress. It looked professionally done. The crystals all stayed on even with dancing in a crowded room and getting jostled a lot. I thought it would take me a week to add the crystals but the Swarovski tool was very easy to use and I was able to complete this in one evening. I found the trick was to wait until the tool is very hot. If I tried to use it before it was completely heated, it didn’t pick the crystals up very well. It was fun to use and I’m looking for other projects so I can use this again.

This made my rhinestone project sooo easy !!I just picked up the stones and applied them exactly where I wanted them placed.This tool heated up the glue much quicker than another brand that I had previously tried.I would definitely recommend this over the brand that comes in pink and both are the same price.I love the on/ off switch which some other models do not have.I suggest having 2 of these and use them simultaneously- it makes the work go so much quicker!I do wish however that a ss12 tip was included in the set.

It really doesn’t heat up to what it needs to. The crystals were hard to place and it takes forever to glue them on. I’ll go back to my glue

Website picture shows tool with what looks like padding in the area where you have to grip it to use. What it has is plain hard plastics ridges which after using it daily will soon cause calluses on your fingers.. The padding that is shown in the picture would have been nice.I already have this tool that they are selling for $28.00 and I paid $17.00, both from Amazon but different companies . This looks like a bait and switch to me.

So much fun, really works great and love the tips included although I use the flat tip the most.
