Almost perfect
This product, the SwitchBot LED Light Strip, is – like every other SwitchBot product I have used – a fabulous piece of kit. Everything about this brand says quality. Set-up is a breeze, so much that one is left wondering "Is that it? Don't I have to do something else?" The little remote control is very handy and so cute; The only mark against this product is that it isn't possible to integrate it with Apple's Home Kit ecosystem; it's almost possible though, by writing a little Apple Shortcut – so you can say "Hey Siri, dim the strip light" – it's just that you won't be able to actually see it listed in the Home app, which is a shame, but do not consider this a deal-breaker, because other than this one little flaw (and you could probably just blame Apple anyway), the SwitchBot LED Strip Light is perfect. Go buy one. Buy two!

What more do you need?
What an awesome light strip.Setup with the app was so easy, great adhesion, surprisingly bright, integrates with Amazon Alexa, Google & IFTTT to create routines or voice control.Paired it with a Switchbot motion detector and you have the perfect auto-light on system.Note that it displays one set of colours at a time rather than a mix but some of the app inbuilt themes are awesome to trigger, I especially liked the green and red Christmas theme, perfect! The music mode took me straight back to disco-days......but watch the brightness.

Good smart LED strip light
The media could not be loaded. I have a little army of SwitchBots around the house, they are one of my favourite gadgets ever, so I was excited to try out the SwitchBot 5m LED Strip Light. The colours are vivid and vibrant, the light strip only displays one colour at a time so you don’t get multiple colours on the strip at the same time. The strip has 3m backing tape and comes with fixable brackets making it easy to install.I already had the SwitchBot app setup on my phone, the strip was easy and simple to connect. As soon as the strip added to the SwitchBot app, it was picked up by my Alexa app as the SwitchBot skill was already installed on the Alexa App.The strip connects to Alexa, Google, Siri, IFTTT, SmartThings and Clova.I have only tried it with my Alexa. The lights work well with Alexa I can tell Alexa to turn the light on, off, and change colour. You do not need the SwitchBot hub to control the lights. The one major disappointment was the quality of the remote control, it was cheap and flimsy. When I pressed it, the plastic of the remote control would distort.

They work
The media could not be loaded. So the app is easy to install and set up with a username and password. It finds the lights and connects them to your Wi-Fi. You can then enable the skill to use Alexa to turn on/off the lights. There’s lots of colours to use, or pick a pre made scene. The stick is fine but I think would peel overtime if used on walls. I couldn’t get the remote to work. It comes with a uk plug and a 2 pin plug that you slot into the main power outlet. The led switch works though for power brightness and colour. Comes with sticky pads to stick the led switch if wanted. Overall happy with them

Wi-Fi enabled and Alexa support. Only glows one colour at a time along the strip though...
This LED strip kit comes in a retail printed cardboard box and inside you’ll find a 5m reel of RGB colour changing LED strip, In-line remote, instruction manual, x plastic locking clips, power supply, and a remote control. The LED strips themselves feel like good quality strips. They are easy to manipulate and bend around to fit whatever you are attaching them to. They don’t have a coating to protect the LEDs so have no protection against damage, rain, and moisture so indoor only. They have a sticky back strip already applied to them, so they are easy to apply as you simply peel away the sticky protector and stick them down as you go. The LEDs are bright and vibrant and have a deep colour saturation to them. They have cut points too so you can cut them to size and re-join them up if needed and they are quite close together, so you can get closer to the exact size you need. You use an app on your phone to control the LED strip. The app is easy to use and makes controlling the LEDs really easy. Once you’ve paired the LEDs to the app, it can be added to your Alexa or Google device. I had no issue connecting these to my 5ghz network as they usually only work on 2.4ghz so I didn’t have to log in to my router for the install, they connected straight away. In conclusion, these lights appear to be more of the same as others out there, except that they can only display one colour at a time so you can’t have any colour chasing effects, just a glow of a solid colour. The colours are deep and vibrant, and the strips are easy to install, genuinely takes minutes to get a strip in place and lit up. There are also plastic fixings if you need to secure cables or the strips in place. The LEDs are also close together so you get a more even lighting effect as compared to cheaper ones with them spaced apart. A good quality LED strip with Alexa support…

Good set of strip lights for the price
I’ve got these for sale price so at £12.50 well worth the price. The only issue I have with these is the sticky tape at the back it’s not very good.
