Twice, we have been delivered a bubbly pitcher and both times, it has what looks like 3 cracks at the top where the handle starts. Is this the design?

(We also have a paper note in the box delivered with the pitcher.) Our interlocking mechanism makes sure a strong connection for the pitcher and handle, making it durable enough for any practical, reasonable use. And it's actually easy to know if the handle is "broken." The interlocking makes is almost impossible for the handle to fall off without hurting the joint or the pitcher. If the handle is "broken," then the joint or the pitcher must also be broken and the handle will be completely loose and off.
