darn good movie for the money on a used DVD movie. The one dude that was the secretary of defense i would of shot the prick in the head long before the movie was over with.. But like always in movies there always has to be a bad ass in there. And he was one of them. Very good long timed movie. 2 Hrs, 52 Mins without the words etc at the end off movie i timed it on my DVD player. i never used the glossary at the end of the movies. i only count the hrs and minutes to the end of the movie. They always have 3 to 5 minutes after the movies of actors etc. well worth the money for the movie. Good entertainment for over 2 hr movie. my daughters account i use all the time.

Added the movie to the collection of disaster movies we already had. Loved the cast and characters.

I like disaster movies like category 6 and 7. i recently stumbled across cat 8 on a free movie channel and liked it. i also like Matthew Modine(from Gross Anatomy) and Maxim Roy(from Wargames 2: dead code), so i wanted to add it to my collection. it is very good.

I totally enjoy this type of movie, and this one was no exception. The only reason it didn't get a 5 was that there are some logical holes in the science. But I really like it!It's refreshing to have a "category #" movie that's not about hurricanes, tornadoes or earthquakes. Those are cool also, but at least this one is different. Also, it's a long movie with two parts - I really liked that!

I love disaster movies, the more disaster the better! This was actually pretty well made but if you like cheesy disaster movies, this might nor be your go to.

I didn't realize this movie was so long when I bought it, so I actually spent two nights watching both parts. I thought it was awesome. If you are the kind of person who picks movies apart like saying " That's not right" or "That could never happen" this may not be the movie for you, but if you enjoy twists and turns and action, you should buy this movie.

My son is a die hard sci fy natural disaster guy. He has aspengers and has loved these types of movies ever since he was young; so, we purchase A LOT Of these movies and I don't think there are too many that we don't own. And I look forward to more coming out. If you are into natural disaster movies, look into these ones.

This is such a great Sci-fi movie. There's a few clichés, such as the really bad man who is head of National Security...he was a little too evil for my taste. But every other aspect of this movie was phenomenal. I have seen it several times since buying it here last year. I highly recommend it.

I am as I have said many times before a fan of disaster movies and I really like this one. It is however a made for TV mini series lasting almost 3 hours long, and as a rule I'm not a fan, I will however forgive them on this occasion as I really enjoyed it. I will not go into detail about the plot because I don't want to spoil it for anybody who wants to buy it, suffice to say if you enjoy this type of movie buy it.

Help, I can't sene the. It is made for USA. What really malkes me mad, is, that I checked the film for that specificly. I Will NOT buy film from USA!
