Exactly what I needed
Perfect. I had the older version (8.0) and needed one that could record in 24-bit. Love the new version - works like a charm. New icons need some getting used to as they don't look exactly the same but that's a minor issue.

I can't install the program
It keeps saying I don't have an internet connection and to try again, well after 35 atemps its in the trash, complete waste of money !!

make sure you download and install separately NetFx20SP1_x64.exe before installation---UPDATE
I love everything about this product! Sony or Magix it does not matter to me. i am an audio guy so the sound forge for me is an absolute must. Quick heads up, i read the reviews from people saying that it shows no internet connection, so when i started the install it showed me to download microsoft net.2 and after that i had the internet connection error. I went on google and searched for NetFx20SP1_x64.exe and after i download it and install it i restarted the installation and all it worked like Magic. Enjoy everyone this wonderful software!!---UPDATE 30 July 2023 i tried to normalize a song and after i selected the level that i wanted to have the song normalized to i clicked ok and nothing happened also same thing happens on the pitch bend i selected faster tempo on my song and after i click ok nothing happens. Sony/Magix can you please contact me. I tried to access your support page and even when i tried to log on is showing me a error screen or when i tried to access the support page from the drop down menu in soundforge audio studio. Waiting for your email

Esta es la segunda vez que compro este software. El primero hecho por Sony. Este último ya con la marca Magix.Prácticamente es lo mismo.
