Is this safe for leather and cloth without changing color?

I'm not sure about leather, but it has not discolored any cloth I've sprayed it on...including our sofa & other furniture or rugs.

Can I spray this on my house plants? My cats chew them all the time if I don't keep them in a closed room.

That is true. I would say that for every 100 bottles we sell, we get a dog that is just not deterred by it. We're happy to refund people in those instances. But reviews work like that typically. If it works, 90% of our customers appreciate it, but just go about their day. When it doesn't work, it upsets people so they post about it. I'm no different. If something doesnt work for me, I would be upset too. All anti-chew products have this issue however. Like humans, some pets are just not effected by the taste. You can always find someone that loves cooked spinach! :)But, ours seems to be the most effective one available and it doesn't contain alcohol. I don't want to talk you into it, but if you're inclined to try it, we do stand behind it!

can this be sprayed on the outside of cars

I would imagine so!  We have never tried that, so I cannot guarantee anything. But it does not contain any acids or harsh chemicals, so I wouldn't think it would harm the paint or anything else like that on the car.Keep in mind that this is a chew deterrent too. So, if you're trying to deter them from touching or climbing on your car, then this probably won't work for that application. It's to stop them from chewing on something. It's very effective for that. For every 100 bottles we sell, it may not  work on about 1-2 dogs. Since taste can be subjective, some dogs may not mind it. But, if it doesn't work for a particular dog, we are happy to refund you on it.

Question 4

Is this safe to use on "hot spots" on your dog to stop them from licking their paws?

It is a good temporary deterrent.  My "Shorkie" is willful and it only stops her from chewing things while it is still wet from spraying.  Once it dries she generally goes back to doing what she wants.  I think the spray was not made to apply directly on the animal. It does say to avoid contact in eyes. It might transfer from paw to pet's eyes.
