Role Models [Blu-ray]

I put this on when I’ve had the worst day. 3 minutes in and I’m already cracking up

This movie made me laugh out loud a few times - gotta love that. Friendship, hardship, mentoring kids, a little romance, forgiveness, etc. This isn't really a "family movie" though. I dont' know what it is rated, but one of the 2 boys being mentored is like 10. The language used and talk about boobies. . . I get that for a little boy with issues, like this character portrayed; however, for his mentor / father figure friend. . . not soo appropriate to me. I"m surprised that this movie went soooo much into the sex topic for an adult male and child character. It was a little much. If I had a ten year old, I wouldn't watch this movie with my ten year old. Other than that. . . the movie was five stars, but I gave it four stars only because of a little overdone with what I mentioned.

Great movie not for the kids though.

Very good funny movie. They work for an energy drink company. As a speaker at a high school all jacked up on energy drinks. They go nuts and destroy the school. There punishment is to be rehabilitated as a big brother to kids and teens.

a bit predictable, but as one would want events to develop, why be disappointed? enjoyed a lot.

Admittedly I would watch Paul Rudd hold a dialog with a paper bag for a few hours, but this late 90s comedy holds up surprisingly well if you can stomach the typical American Pie -era raunch Its a really well-cast, well timed comedy about (mostly) the dynamics of friendship with some just incredibly accurate digs at that time period such as the entire premise of a long term career and endless promotional tours built around energy drinks (as a former promo girl its too real). The sex, drugs and language are dialed up a little more than necessary but it carries the plot that these two are no angels and need the help of the kids to find their souls again.

Having seen the trailer and then bought it, it was definitely worth it, the two main actors did an excellent job and the film does not disappoint at all (despite American terms used).If you're in for a laugh, grab a copy of Role Models on Blu-ray!The picture quality of Role Models is great, but I believe it could've been better, more detailed and more clear (too grainy when you look closely and doesn't show the full pic details).As for the audio comes with the 5.1 and HD.This Blu-ray has both versions of the film, first is Uncut and the second is the Theatrical Version.

Our two slacker heroes get into scrapes and, to avoid jail time, are forced to mentor a couple of troubled youngsters. If the eventual outcome is perhaps predictable this is nevertheless a thoroughly entertaining goofballs make good comedy.

When I first watched this film I just thiyght it would be another super bad and knocked up type film bot i was pleasently suprised as the the tone of the comedy is much differentScott and Rudd are fantastic as the leads and very beliveble yet lovable losers christopher mintz paltze had me crying in the isle's as the hillarious and geeky augieA brilliant film that wil make you laugh and cry a great viewing for all comedy fans!
