Putting it together took about an hour, and the instructions were pretty straightforward. I got this for my office to display some special book collections, and I'm really happy with how it looks and how solid each shelf feels.Having both the flat and slanted shelves gives it more visual interest.Totally worth it for the price!

Fairly easy to build(make sure you have sides turned in the right direction). Having help when building would be helpful, but not necessarily needed. Seems to be sturdy, wall anchors could be better. You will definitely need to anchor. Manufacturer sent white tie wraps to put on a black frame. I'm using it to hold my kitchen toys, and it is holding up well. I like the wider shelves on this unit as opposed to the other units I looked at. I wish that the manufacturer would spend a few more pennies to make the box thicker to protect the contents, but the box wasnt destroyed like past ones(from different manufacturers) . I would buy again

This bookshelf paired great with my desk to complete my home office setup. Plenty of shelves and very sturdy once it's all together. I recommend having someone help you put this together. I did it myself, and could have had it done in half the time with another set of hands. Overall a great product and very stylish.

After carefully measuring and re-reading all the reviews, I pulled the proverbially trigger on this one during a prime day sale with free shipping and I am so happy I did. The quality is much better than I expected and the assembly is way better than I anticipated as were the directions. My dad happened to be in town for thanksgiving and this was a black friday assembly project, instead of a shopping day! We had it put together in a few hours after careful instruction reading and only had to switch out one part after a small mistake. The tools provider were fine and very minimal to no frustration. It is sturdy, the shelves are strong and I am not worried about the weight they can hold. It is exactly what I was looking for. It opens up the space while allowing display of photos/items. I do NOT regret this purchase!

Lovely shelf for the price and it’s huge. Make sure you don’t leave any standing water if used for plants as the shelves are press board.
