Port Products Texturizing Hair Putty

I've never written a review on a hair product before. I'm 28 with medium length hair and have gone through quite a few phases with gels/pomades/putties/etc. over the years. I've found plenty that were satisfactory and spent stupid amounts of money for them, but after trying this, it will take a lot to get me to switch again. I was blown away. I love it- this is the stuff I've always wanted. It took significantly less time to even get my hair where I wanted it, it stayed that way, gave it a low but nice silky shine, and was incredibly easy to wash out. After seeing my freshly styled hair, my wife said, "I had no idea it could actually make that big of a difference--it looks great!" Crazy. I agree. This is just really good stuff. Didn't take much at all to style the hair either. Well worth it.

If this were $7 I'd understand how we arrived here, but at $20+ there's no way. The hold is weaker than American Crew molding clay. Even when it's fresh I can't get my hair to do anything I want it to. I could forgive that if it weren't for the endurance.After six hours it may as well not even be in my hair. Whereas you can go two or three days with a single application of Crew (if you don't wash your hair), this stuff is gone after a few hours.Maybe if my hair were only an inch or two it would be fine, but at a maximum length of 5" this simply can't keep up.

I think the hold is a little bit less than medium, but I was able to fix it with a tad of hair spray. Overall great product - smells nice, doesn't leave white residue and easy to wash off.

will hold your hair for about 5 min and thats about it. also it smells like dill pickles definitely not a "clean fresh scent"

Great product. Medium-strong hold with semi-glossy finish. Easy to apply and just as easy to wash off. Great value and clean ingredients.
