I adopted a boxer that just doesn't relax, even after hours of running, she doesn't know when to stop. She has separation anxiety, so we try not too leave her alone, take her everywhere we can. I wanted something like this for our move, she had a hard time relaxing in hotels, new home... And just 1 of these helps her relax! Hopefully it will teach her the feeling of relaxing and she can do it naturally. For now,. It's this chew. By the way, she says it tastes yucky, and my dog eats everything. I roll it around in peanut butter and she eventually eats it. It has a strong medicine smell.

I have a 70 lb. Golden retriever and was headed on a 26 - 31 hour road trip. He does not like the car at all so I got these in hopes of calming him down. I gave him 3 the first dose but it wasn't enough. Next dose I gave him 5 and that did the trick. He layed down, not asleep but more relaxed. He was completely able to still get out and walk around and do potty without any issue. I was able to tell when they were wearing off. I ended up giving him a dose approx. every 10 or 12 hours. Would definitely recommend trying these before getting drugs from the vet.

This calming supplement actually works. I have a 15 year old who becomes very agitated as nighttime approaches - pacing, crying. She takes Tramadol for her spinal pain problems but that does nothing for her night time agitation. She weighs about 45 pounds. I give her two of these little cube shaped edible pieces every night, and she calms down quickly and sleeps through the night. She has a rather sensitive digestive system, but these don't have any negative side effects at all.I bought my first jar of this product from one of the really good online veterinarian columnists who is oriented to natural remedies, and I found it to be just what my 15 year old bird dog needed. I also tried it with my Great Pyrenees during thunderstorms, which frighten him, and it works well for him too.When I had used the entire jar I naturally went to Amazon to see if I could buy it with free shipping using Prime, and of course I could! It arrived in two days and we were good to go. This product is highly recommended. I know that giving human tranquillizers to dogs is the 'new hot thing', but I like this simple digestible herbal supplement so much better. Giving her tranquilizers along with Tramadol would have been 'over the top' in my view.

Works great for long trips and anxiety bond Jack Russell's I can't say how this would work on any other than my strange little hound, but for her it really does help. One square and maybe 30 min later she naps (safely) in the backseat for a bit and she's not scared and whimpering giving herself fits or seizures for travels. She's way happier once we arrive and hadn't had to go through any of it, no fog or moodiness either gets right up and is her normal full speed self. It helps her go through less anxiety and stress and doesn't hurt her, I'd definitely get these again, they've made her travels safer.

My dog LOVED these calming chews! They worked like a charm when given a couple of hours before we knew fireworks, or a thunderstorm was coming through.I cannot find them for sale anywhere and everything else we have tried doesn’t work as well, or our dog doesn’t like the taste. Please, please, please make these again so I can order more!

We lost one of our beloved dogs after 12 years to cancer, his brother that was left behind had been crying and pacing for two days. We tried everything. After giving him 3 chews he laid down after 20 min. He has been sound asleep tucked in for hours now. Thank goodness.

Our dog falls apart on the 4th of July, so we decided to give these chews a whirl and total success! It was unreal how calm she was. Literally nothing bothered her. We'll be using these again for sure!!
