This thing is amazing
As soon as I saw this come out i started watching reviews on it and ended up ordering one. Im very happy I did it is SO much easier to load and unload filament and I can print tpu with ease. Directions are straightforward and easy to understand. The quality is pretty good and depends on many factors. But for a skilled 3d printer hobbyist its pretty easy. For someone who doesnt know really how to use one or correctly set settings I recommend reading up on it before setting it up. Definitely worth the upgrade for my ender 3v2

Best Ender 3V2 ever. You won’t be disappointed one bit!
I bought these for my print farm. I made the mistake of launching with all bowden setups hahah. After a few months the maintenance and errors I had made constant repair work. I upgraded 6 machines to these people kits and they have been running nonstop for months. 24/7, auto bed clearing, big parts, and high temps. Not a single problem across all 6. Haven’t even had a clog yet. Honestly this and Jyers firmware will turn your ENDER 3V2 into a very very capable machine. But buy the S1 next time ;) hehe

Sprite nozzle heater is polarized. Nothing but issues...
The media could not be loaded. It's finally easy to change the filament on Ender 3, no more trying to align the filament with the bowden hole.^^^^ This statement above is all I can honestly say about the Sprite. I intended to upgrade so I could print flexible filament like soft TPU, I figured due to the all metal hotend that I could print higher temp filaments too. All I got for my troubles is a wasted week trying to get the darn thing to spit out a nice even line and multiple spongy test cubes. The mounting bracket isn't bent properly. When attached, the printer unit sits twisted and doesn't sit level with the bed. I had to put the mount in a vise and bend the arm more to get the unit to sit straight. The first thing, the nozzle is now 11mm away from the corner of home. I tried to fix this using the settings in Marlin to set home position. This wasn't working, then I tried to find a way to move the Y limit switch... but without a printer to make a new mount.. (see where this is going). Then I watched a video where the host moved the whole Y axis forward 12mm by taking the four screws out and using T-nuts to hold the 4040 onto the frame. I figured this was my best option, otherwise I would effectively be losing 2400CM3 of bed space. I moved the bed mount. Then I releveled the bed, calibrated my eSteps and attempted a print. The instructions say to set the eSteps to 424.9 and the retraction .8/40mms. The eSteps calibration setting didn't work when I checked it, in order to get 100mm I had to set them at 438.The calibration cube was spongy and the walls didn't adhere to each other, the layers were fine. The walls looked like seatbelt material for some reason. I switched filaments to a known good one and had the same problem. I tried upping the nozzle temperature to 235 (from 216 which worked with my old stock setup) since I read some forum posts about the all metal end needing a higher temp. I played with retraction, temperatures and bed leveling, I just cannot get this printer to spit out a nice even line without splotches. The line also appears to be much thinner than the stock nozzle produced, I replaced the nozzle thinking it was partially clogged or something.. no change. I'm chalking this purchase up as lessons learned and tossing it. What a Joke of a product, there's very little help for it. I asked several places, a FB printing group, Red edit, and a forum for ideas on what was happening and how to fix it.The hotend fan causes the table to resonate a hum. The hum happens when the printer is on, I've got to figure out how to add some damping materials. My initial review was all stars and rainbows over this product, now it's lightening and hail. I'm going back to a stock hotend.

A lot of problems
Has a lot of problems since I change it to this direct extruder… the filament not coming out or coming out thin even when the hot end is cleaned.

A grea head unit or Ender3
This is a great buy for your machine, look no further. The print quality is excellent, the only downside is you have to fine tune the retraction and some materials cool too fast. But in general terms this is a great unit.

I was sent a used one
Low stars not for the sprite itself because I have one on another printer, but because the one I was sent is used. There was no seal on the box, just a piece of regular tape that wasn't even taped where it should be. Opened it up and found wheels with wear, a torn silicone sock with filament on it, and the thermistor connector already unglued from the housing. Returning it.

Check screws before sticking to this extruder
Went to take the screws from the heater block connecting the heat sink apart and found they are bent all to hell... going to have to get a return set up for this one...So, just in case, check these before the return policy is up.

Nothing but problems.
Never had so many problems until I bought this extruder. At first non stop nozzle clogging, now it prints clumps rather than smooth layers. z offset is spot on, checked it at least 3 dozen times. Problem is a feeding issue and if you decide to buy, buy with caution.
