Going to Texas Renaissance and needed a sword to go with my outfit. The sword and frog were packaged in a huge box. No bending of the product. It's in perfect condition and looks amazing. I see no imperfections and am extremely happy with this purchase! I do not Larp but still wanted something that wasn't just to quality as I have always collected swords, axes and knives. First one that wasn't made of metal and was surprisingly not disappointed! Recommending this for any one cosplaying or I guess larping. (Once again I've never larped but I assume it'd still be great for it)

This foam version of Glamdring looks great and is tough enough for a sword fight with friends. My sister could identify the sword from a picture.

Did not come with sheath

Although this is specifically a LOTR sword, it is close enough to Braveheart’s sword for costume use, which is my intent for ordering this sword. As a martial artist myself, I will say that this is by no means a martial arts training sword as advertised, but for cosplay and costumes it is perfect with a realistic looking appeal.The fiberglass core ensures it will not flop over and it gives the sword a nice amount of rigidity, and it feels like there is a wire supporting the handguard, but the handguard is a bit on the thin side and that would likely be where a break could occur. The foam used is a dense foam that doesn’t peel or come apart easily and allows for the realistic contours and coloring that has been applied. My sword weighs in at exactly one pound, so it is a very lightweight replica.Any cons? This will damage easily with any hits, so I wouldn’t recommend actually using it to swing against another sword. Also, at this price I really feel it should come with a scabbard. I am going to have to come up with some sort of a sheath to have this on my back when in costume.

I got this as you can get the safe version, not the really expensive version and then the kids can play with them. it's amazing

It’s a great looking sword, nice weight to it and perfect for my costume however it was advertised as including a frog, which I never received. At first I thought I read the product description wrong but it clearly advertises itself as coming with a sheath and other customers received one so I’m confused as to why I didn’t, it’s a shame as it now forces me to buy another one elsewhere at the last minute. So just be aware that you might not receive your frog.

This sword has an excellent sturdy core with soft exterior edges. This sword does still hurt if you swing it at full speed but is great for small battles around the house with kids. So far, the durability is great.
