Best $25 I've spent
Phenomenal upgrade for my Dedica. Espresso tastes far cleaner, my stock basket had started to corrode. I don't do anything special, still use pre-ground Lavazza and this works great.

Good price value
I bought this once for my Delonghi Dedica EC 685, it works well. My espresso is now amazing. Just a little bit of advice from my side. After trying different ways to solve the sprouting issue. Nothing worked; later, I also experienced portafilter dropping after pressure build up. Then I tried to use espresso press filters, and it solved the issue. Now there is no sprouting and brewing is very consistent

Fits later models of the Dedica as well
This fit the later versions of the Dedica even though they are not listed in the description. The sides are straight, so all funnels fit. I prefer it to the porta filter that comes with the machine. At least for me, it does not produce more crema. It is about the same as the other porta-filters.

Fits Delonghi EC685 Perfectly
Sturdy, stainless steel bottomless coffee filter that attaches well to the Delonghi 685 espresso machine. The strainers are solid enough and the holes are fine enough for long-term use making good expresso. I purchased mine with both the interchangeable 2-shot & 1-shot strainers available from the same seller. A bonus is that the one-shot strainer fits into the Delonghi coffee filter that came with the machine - no modification needed. One small negative is that there is no notch in the filter to facilitate removal of the strainers as there are on the OEM filter. Also be aware that the filter handle is black plastic - not wood. As the handle seems fairly heavy and well-made, that's not a negative for me. Had I wanted a more esthetic filter, I've have ordered one of the several more pricey brands. In the first couple of uses, the filter has produced rich tasting expresso. (And yes, the taste is fuller & richer than achieved with the pressurized strainer that comes with the Delonghi 685. There was no leaking from the edges of the filter or spraying from the base of the unit as some reviewers have noted with other brands of filter.Overall, this is a very satisfactory product and I'd recommend it.

Fits Coffee Gator Espresso Machine
Accurate machining, 3-leaf portafilter with prongs, measuring 5.5mm at the thick end and 4.0mm at the tapered end.Fits my Coffee Gator Espresso machine. Plastic handle feels light, and can be unscrewed from the metal basket holder. This portafilter has a standard basket retention spring, unlike some others in this size category. The included basket has a ring around the top inner circumference, rather than the smooth curved top surface you might see on other baskets, and the outer edge of the basket is a little rough. Also, there is an inner ridge near the bottom of the basket, which could potentially affect your flow. If these things are a concern for you (for example, if you use a self-leveling tamp), you may want to upgrade the basket. If you're an enthusiast, you probably already have a better basket in mind.Overall, fair quality naked portafilter. The free basket is nothing special.

Getting splashes of coffee often
Used to work fine for a while. Now I'm getting splashes of coffee very often from the left or right sides (or both) when using it.

Great replacement for Delonghi Dedica pressurized portafilter
I have been very impressed with this cheap upgrade to my Dedica 680 espresso maker. You just simply use this handle and filter rather than the included Delonghi handle, and the fit and finish matches great.I found that I needed to grind my coffee finer and needed about 18g of espresso to properly fill the basket and get a longer extraction. While dialing it in, I had many fast shots (<7 seconds long) until I really started filling the basket and tamping it down VERY firmly, leaving around ⅛ to 3/16th of an inch (3-5mm) of headroom between the puck and the top of the portafilter. It feels pretty tight when putting the filled filter onto the machine to take a shot, but that's what you should expect! To avoid channelling and little jets of espresso while pulling the shot, I recommend using a WDT tool (or a paperclip, or anything thin and straight! Google it lol) to break up any clumps of espresso before you tamp the powder down into a puck

The back keeps popping out from being locked in.
Doesn’t fit well with my 680m. As you’re dialing in the settings (grind amount and size etc), at no point should the back of the Portafilter pop out from being locked into the machine. This happened repeatedly with 2 different portafilters. They exchanged the first one and I had the same results with the 2nd one.
