Q: I did not receive a carbon filter for my lid. Is it supposed to be included? Where can I purchase replacement filters?

No filter In This trash can. The inside has a removable liner that hold the trash bag.

No - not even sure where you would place it as the bin doesn’t have a holder for a filter.

Q: Mine makes a robotic noise after the lid closes. Not sure if thats normal?

That's definitely not normal. Mine makes a slight quiet opening and closing sound but no robotic noises afterwards. If there are new batteries in it and it's making that noise I would sent it back.
