XT-4032 Machine Readable Original Mod Chip Suitable for XBOX1 Generation Machine Gaming Console Repair 1Pcs

This chip works great for my OG Xbox console. I was able to flash the bios easily using OGXbox installers disc. The directions are very clear on how to install it on various versions of the original Xbox. Would highly recommend if you're needing a mod chip.

I bought 2 of these mod chips have not used them yet because i don't have a 1.6v xbox yet,but I'm sure they will work just fine and are re-flashable. They have a removeable 256k ST bios chip, which is great considering that ST tsop chips that came on some of the 1.2v-1.5v xbox's were some of the best. The glory about this mod chip is it has a removable bios chip is that the bios chip can be replaced and re-flased in the event of failure, you just need Hexen to flash the new bios chip. ONLY USE THIS MOD CHIP IF YOU HAVE A 1.6 VERSION XBOX OR IF FOR SOME REASON YOUR TSOP GOES BAD ON YOUR 1.OV-1.5V. There is no reason to use this mod chip on a 1.0v-1.5v xbox because they have a tsop on board which is a eeprom, since all you have to do is bridge a couple points on the motherboard so that the tsop goes from read only to read/write then the bios can be flashed with Hexen, and this does the same thing as a mod chip.

Ordered on a Monday, arrived the next day. Worked perfectly. After installation in a v1.6 OG Xbox, I flashed it with Cerbios v2.3.1 from Xblast v0.56. I booted into a DVD ROM of OG Xbox installer 2021, set up a new hard drive, then installed the XBMC for Gamers dashboard from the disc. Once that was done, I used Filezilla to FTP Cerbios to the C: drive (I created "bios" subdirectory on the root). I then flashed the new chip using Xblast on the Installer disc. I followed Mr. Mario's YouTube tutorial "How to Install an Aladdin XT Plus2 Modchip in a Xbox 1.6", worked like a charm!

I installed this and it FRAGS red/green. It isn't flashable. I wish i would have bought it elswhere.

If you use it as is, it will work but if you reflash it with a different EvoX BIOS it might take 2 startups for it to work :/

Installed in my v1.0 motherboard Xbox and flashed an old M7 bios to it using EvoX. I then used an OGXbox Cerbios disc to flash Cerbios.

Worked exactly as described. Was able to boot right away to evox then used xblast os to flash the newest cerbios without any issues. Perfect addition for a v1.6 Xbox.
