The BEST socks against blisters!
I keep purchasing more of these socks and after about 5 years, I now own about 14 pairs. They are the ONLY ones that I wear when I walk outside. My foot was operated on, and I no longer have the natural heel pad that God gave me, nor do I have any feeling in my heel, so I can't tell when I'm getting a blister until I get home and see the blood on my sock. I wear custom shoe inserts, and before I discovered Wright socks, I would get blisters all the time if I walked over half a mile. But the Wright sock Running II has saved my heel. I buy the longer crew socks because anything shorter tends to slide down into my shoe. If Wright ever comes up with a knee-high sock, I'll buy those. However, the crew socks do not slip down into the shoe.

Good Quality Sock (but not cheap)
First, the sock could be slightly larger, but it is acceptable (I took the extra large size and I wear a 12 shoe now). So, I would suggest buying a size up for fit. The socks are relatively soft and comfortable; these are supposedly "crew" which to me indicates not too high on the calf; I find them fairly high--about 7 inches high from the start of the heel. They advertise you won't get blisters, and they are probably right as the socks seem to adjust to movement in the feet. One kind of downside of this is they are not summer socks; that is, they are pretty warm. I wore them today with tennis shoes (it was in high 90's), and my feet were pretty warm. That said, in summary, they appear to be a high quality sock that will prevent or lessen chance of blisters, and they are comfortable to the touch.
