After several hours trying to follow the minimal Sharp 2 sided single page instrs to set up clock etc eventually got clock and basic micro to work and performs those functions well ! . Have not attempted combi/grille functions as yet,but,once I decipher the instrs hopefully all bells & whistles will make sense. The instrs are in my mind farcical, need clearer detail ! I DO NOT FAULT SELLER ,rather Sharp for spoiling ones expectations re-setup. Despite having used micros for over 50yrs this one was a challenge .The unit looks good and micros well, have put a thin rubber mat under to prevent it slipping on w/top when opening door, also, noticed fan runs on a for 40-60 seconds after use PRESUME THIS OK as have not experienced with previous micros bearing in mind my last model was 15yrs old [so tech has moved on ] The Defrost Function is good as just used and result perfect for 1/3rd Kilo mince frozen on Auto D/FR for 6mins aprox and no over heated brown bits . Now upping from 3 to 3.5stars a very tight 4stars until other functions tried and tested .

Great microwave easy to use. Unfortunately this one stopped working after 13 Months. The house fuses keptBreaking. Amazon has accepted the return and given me a full refund. I have now purchased the same make but without the combination. If you purchase from Amazon then you can be sure they will always assist if things go wrong. Great company and cusservice.

Pros- Looks nice, very powerful, spacious interior. Cons- Clunky door, noisy, a lot of condensation inside after heating anything, you need great eyesight to read the categories on the front, I gave up trying to set the clock its ridiculous.

This review is for the Solo 25L 900W Microwave - no grill etc.This replaced a previous Sharp Microwave. I was hoping for more of the same great ergonomics, but no they removed the buttons and replaced them with touch sensitive areas that take several prods to get them to register. Probably easier to clean, but certainly harder to use.Also the increase in power levels, just means more prodding to reduce from 100%. Also pressing the OK doesn't add +30 Seconds to the timer during cooking unless it's on 100% (I thought the old one used to do this, although possibly I am wrong about this one, anyway can we set it up like this?).In all the other metrics though this is a very good Microwave, so if you don't ever need to set the clock or use less than 100% power go ahead and buy. I just wish style didn't take priority over usability so much today (Car Manufacturers also take note).I also think the interior is slightly smaller even though both were technically 25L (an old Microwave plate was notably a tight squeeze in the new one).

Ive always opted for cheap microwaves, I went foe a more expensive one with more space and a greater heat level at 900w and it was so worth it. The build quality is excellent, the microwave functionality and options are very helpful and I now feel it's great value for money. Nice to be able to heat food faster too and the added space allows us to microwave a lot more including sterilising our large baby unit with all bottles and accessories.
