I was not sure if this was going to be too big.The 20x20 is perfect for most freshwater fishing.Landed some hefty Catfish with this.good quality construction.Net wont tangle up with hooks.Stows away nicely.

I had this same net before, and was hoping when i ordered this one it would be exactly the same and it was. The net and handle are heavy duty, yet it can be stored in a relatively small area the way the handle collapses into the net. My first one went overboard (they don't float). I attached a float to the new one.

Perfect for bigger fishing. First net that’s really durable and high quality construction. Worth the investment if you fish offshore.

Looks well made . Have not used it yet. Will be doing so this summer in Alaska, then I can give a true report.

Bought this net as a replacement for my old one. It fits great in the net storage compartment of my Phoenix 618 and the rubber coating makes it a lot less of a mess when treble hooks are in use. The telescopic handle slides easily to a very nice length and it's a very rugged construction throughout the whole net.

This thing is big, and expandable handle is awesome. Greatbprice for a very functional large net.

Wow, what a great product. This replaces a good net that looks similar and has a telescoping handle, but it didn't have rubber netting or a flat bottom. And even though the Ranger net has a longer handle than the old net, it actually stores in less space in the bass boat, where space is always at a premium! Brilliant! And it is so much easier to unhook big bass in Ranger net and involves much less trauma for the fish prior to release or going into the livewell. Don't hesitate to replace your old net with one of these.

Works as a good kayak net for fish up to low 40"
