AR500 Steel Shooting Target Combo Pack with Stand Kit for 1 Inch EMT Conduit

I used 3/4" conduit and just smashed (ovaled) the ends slightly to fit the stand legs in. 3/4" conduit is much cheaper than 1" and i have 5 other target stands made from it that have lasted 5+ years. The target hangers aren't great for smaller/lighter ar500 plates, if you hit them hard with a large caliber they might fly off. Use rubber bungees for those. Probaly suited best for large/heavy ar500 targets. I used these hangers for a 12×20 and they work great.

This worked great. EMT conduit is the lightest stuff that is going to be strong enough for this. Keep in mind that it will take about $60 worth of the stuff to complete at a good height off the ground... 2@10'x3/4" cut in half for legs, and 1@10'x1" for a cross bar, cut to length (or not... Could hang additional targets outside the frame on a 10' pipe).One can make a great, basically portable, target solution with this.

Nice setup for the money. You’ll need about 16ft of 1” pipe. I made my legs 36” and my center section 4’. The pipe cost me $35 for 2 x 10ft pieces of 1” EMT. So all in, around $115.

Just opened the box and they seem to be good quality. Nice heavyweight to them. Was disappointed they didn't fit the gong target I bought from Highwild Store. I may have missed the sizing somewhere.

Good targets

This is a great way to get started shooting steel. Comes with everything you need to start in one reasonable package.

Add some 1” conduit and have yourself a blast. Plates have held up to more than they should and it’s super fun.

They work great. Nice to be able to take targets on and off.
