Not up to snuff. Too many family stories. Confusing.
Tudors many other books do a better job of conveying the chill of cold fury. This alternates between fuel and power making a hash of it. ALSO: Those considering SPLINTER ED MALICE at $16 on paper only, DONT It’s a rehash from earlier books and even duplicates chapters from that very book. I am looking forward to his series on The Creature or the narcissist’s TRUE SELF who wants to replace his narcissistic FALSE SELF. Travis P Dungan

BEST AUTHOR and only Expert on Narcissist!!
I have read 32 books by HG Tudor and he never disappoints! The worlds leading expert on all facets of a narcissist. Why? Because beter than any psychologist, psychiatrist, HG is the Elite Narcissist an has written books, article and has a website where he publishes different topics daily. Fury explains the inner turmoil and rage the narcissist feels every day of his life; hidden and masked but it is still there.HG has the gift of writing in such a simplistic and straight forward way but yet details all components of what empathetic people should be aware of and know. If you have been or are entangled with someone who is a narcissist, read this book and all the others he has written. It has helped me leave my narcissistic husband thanks to HG!!

Almost 5 stars
It explains a lot. When I look back I see now what he explains in the book and some things I even remembered that I had forgotten, so be forewarned, it might bring back painful memories, or just memories that now are more painful because you’re reliving it in a way and you’re understanding what was inexplicable before. Ouch.

Something vexes thee?
Another wicked read by HG Tudor. Fury is one of the many diabolical instruments in the narcissist’s toolbox and it is described here as uncontrollable, savage and simmering. This book details two types of rage attributed to the Narcissist: Heated Fury and Cold Fury. You will read about fury’s relevance to the narcissist, the reason(s) fury is deployed, how it manifests, why it waxes and wanes and what triggers it.The narcissist’s façade is a thin patina that just barely suppresses an undercurrent of rage; s(he) is ready to explode at the slightest of criticisms. If you wonder why the narcissist is always in a state of turbulence? Read Fury and you will find out.

Horrifyingly real - a glimpse into a loved one's NPD self
I was looking to try to understand what a sibling was going through as he would become Furious in the space of a few seconds over what I thought were very petty things. Mr. Tudor, writing in the first person, gave me a glimpse of what sets off a narcissistic rage and what feeds that fury beyond all reason. I went through this e-book in less than 30 minutes while traveling in a car and could not put it down. It would be a fascinating read if it were Fiction but because it was written by someone who himself was diagnosed with Narcissistic Personality Disorder, it became even more horrifying because it was true.

Some of the best material I've read for understanding narcissism.
This was the second book I read by this author. The description in this book about what it is that drives narcissism was the best I've come across. The author describes his own narcissism and that within his own family with personal stories and a very unique writing style. This one really hit home and helped me to understand the dynamics present in my own childhood. Definately a must read for understanding narcissism.

Appreciative for the narcissist 's view
Grateful for the knowledge of the never ending fury within. As much as I may understand more about narcissistic fury, I am no longer willing to continue to be brutalized by my narcissistic husband.

A quick read but devastatingly informative.Being a regular visitor to Tudor's blog and knowing some of his personal backstory, I appreciated reading about some of his formative years' experiences with his Narcissist relatives. Personal anecdotes illustrated the disorder in action and how he sought to harness its destructive power for himself...and why.Now I have a deeper understanding of the perpetual state of restlessness or anxiety that I witnessed in relatively drama-free settings with a Narcissist and why substance abuse often accompanies the disorder...it's Fury.

Why Narcs are always furious — interesting insights
This book could be very helpful to anyone who has been preyed on by narcissists. A narcissist himself, H G Tudor explains how narcs "strive to provoke anger in you" as a way of getting that emotional satisfaction ('fuel') they are hourly dependent on by thinking they can control your emotions. Tudor also explains how all narcs are perennially simmering with rage. Normal people sometimes wonder why sometimes bursts into rage for no reason, but this book shows how the fury is always there, and needs very little to ignite it. I have read numerous books on narcs (and knew several of them) so I know the ground quite well. I was particularly interested in the reasons why Tudor says daily life causes his fury to flare up. What particularly gets him is criticism given in a scientific, unemotional way — for instance, by one of his college professors. "When...anybody criticises us then you are negating our splendour...". Yes, the Narcs are desperate to believes that they are superior; it's an inferiority complex they suffer from, at heart. So if you tell them they are two minutes late or even if you praise someone else then even these small things can turn them against you forever.

Having lived through a nightmare marriage to a narcissist this book along with Manipulated and Fuel (by the same author) helped me fully understand what had happened and how to handle it in the future. Other books don't come close to these in going into detail about their warped thinking that they consider to be normal.
