This is not cast-iron at all. It is not as heavy as cast-iron should be and it has some kind of coating on it that when you try to use metal tools it scratches in flakes off and it’s a shiny silver underneath.

This fits perfectly on a weber q 2000 series grill. It heats up evenly and quickly, it is a little heavy, but not unmanageable since it is cast iron.I have cooked dozens of times and have not experienced and warping or rusting.I would recommend using 75% heat if you are going to be using it to cook breafast foods like bacon or eggs.
