The ones I got were just OK
The tail I purchased was OK unfortunately many of the hair fiber is shorter than I would like considering I tie mostly salwater patterns. This tail may be great for freshwater patterns. The fibers found on this tail seem to be almost a half inch shorter than the fibers on all my other buck tails. I do not blame the company for this considering it is a natural product but they could have done a better job sorting the tails and I will be buying all my natural materials in my local fly shop for now on. I guess you get what you pay for.

very good for tropical jigs!
I purchased this item to make a lot of lead-head jugs, we use a lot here in Brasil (Northeastern), at lakes, to catch peacock bass. Some of them 6-7 kilos. The bucktails are very good, keep well their colors, and are easy to fit to the jogs. Y recommend to every serious jigger!
