Excellent fit, good design. IMO the best for having a detachable cover whilst leaving a protective cover on the iPad which is a design I personally wanted to see for some time, it just makes things easier for certain tasks where the stand/cover would only get in the way. Good quality materials are used. It does add a little more weight to the iPad but shouldn’t be a deal breaker for the quality of protection for the device, it’s certainly not for me. The flap sits flush when not using a pencil which is very nice. It’s a far better choice for those who just want a cover for the back and buy the cheap silicone covers and though this maybe twice as expensive as those covers at least you are getting the best of both worlds with this one from ESR. While I only really need the back cover as I put this on a stand it’s very helpful to have the front cover to to protect the iPad screen when in transit. It’s not really expensive considering the asking price of the Apple alternative that also does not have a fully detachable and robust back cover. Recommended!

Immediately impressed with quality of materials and construction. iPad Air 6th Gen 11" fit is very snug. You need to spend a few minutes understanding the different ways to mount - it's not completely intuitive but it's not rocket science either.3 viewing angles available in landscape mode including a slightly raised one which is good for typing / drawing. All sufficient for my needs.Portrait mode however is less stable - you need to be sure it is properly positioned and the magnets have properly secured. Actually feels to me like the magnets are not strong enough in this mode and the ridge to support the base should be a bit deeper - any little downward knock and it slips. That said, so long as you get the hang of doing it properly it will be fine - the imperfections are outweighed by the convenience.Overall a good purchase - very happy with it.

My 10 year old iPad Air was severely on its way out so I treated myself to a new one. I decided to go for the 13” this time and I’m so glad I did as I can see everything a lot clearer now with my ageing eyes. It does mean it’s a lot heavier than my old one. I didn’t use a cover on my old one as I find it awkward to use the buttons, heavy, clumsy and flappy, and you loose the style of the iPad. I didn't need one as it’s never left the house but due to the price and size of my new one I wanted to protect it and still have it looking beautiful. I nearly went for the one with the clear back that apple sponsor but I came across ESR whilst looking through reviews on the other one. I’m so glad I checked them out. I’ve never heard of the brand but they are really good. I bought the glass screen protector which is excellent and the writing screen protector too, not yet fitted. What appealed to me with both brands was the clear back which I could not find on any other brand. I have had a personalised affirmation engraved on the back of the iPad so why cover it up with a standard cover. So after looking into this one I decided to ditch the apple sponsored one, it was more than double the price too. The second reason I went for ESR is that I can take out my iPad from the main cover and it’s still protected, with the plastic round the edge, the clear back and of course the glass protector I purchased separately. It’s not unlike my iPhone cover. It is easily placed back inside the main cover securely with a very strong magnet. This magnet also serves to keep your iPad secure in the different usage positions. The pencil is also secured with a strong magnet on the side. I watched a video comparing this with the Shift cover which is stronger. At first I was worried this one wouldn’t be as supportive in the positions, but it is. It’s said to have a soft touch. I thought it was going to have a fabric type cover but it’s just plastic but it is very soft, not like a plastic feel. I am over the moon with it. I decided to go for a colour as it’s got a positive vibe compared to black or grey which I usually go for with tech items. I went for the light blue as it almost perfectly matches my sofa and is a calming colour. The best thing about it, is that I can take out my iPad and use it without the main cover. My iPad is heavy enough as it is, and although the cover is light compared to others, it’s still extra weight. It also means I don’t have the irritation of a floppy cover which is the main reason I’ve not used covers before. The buttons are also easy to press. It’s also hygienic compared to other leather or rubber cumbersome types as it’s easily wiped down, being smooth plastic. I highly recommend. You won’t regret it, if your preferences are the same as mine. I can’t stop looking at it. 🤣 If I could give it 10 stars I would, which I’ve never said on any other reviews. Such a great design! Really useful to have the iPad protected even when not using the full case. Keeps the pen safe and secure when out and about too. It is quite heavy as other reviews suggest but I’d say it’s worth it for the functionality it offers!
