Great 400ct for Quality and Price
5 Stars because it was delivered fast, color as described, and good quality for 400ct. Out of the package there was a slight chemical smell, but you’re supposed to wash them before use anyway. No smell after the wash. I put them on the bed while still warm and they were wrinkled a bit but they are cotton so that’s to be expected. Fitted sheet: has foot of bed tab so I love that. Deep pockets. My mattress is 12”, and so it would definitely fit at least a 16”. A little thin as you can see in the photos. You can nearly see the bed manufacturers logos. But, they are 400ct. These are soft sheets, not thick or “crisp”. And my meaning of crisp is the thick heavy 800ct that I can no longer afford.. lol. If you know, you know. They are cooling. I’m a hot menopausal sleeper and these, coupled with my thin coverlet are perfect. The pillow cases did not disappoint, either. Great craftsmanship on these and fit my king pillows perfectly. Message to manufacturer: all king sets SHOULD come with 4 pillow cases. I knew it only had two when I purchased, just saying… the top/flat sheet also has a foot tag, and just a few things I’ve noticed: there were a couple of loose threads at the foot, where other reviews say there are dozens. Not in my batch. Overall, I found two on the entire set. The flat sheet also has enough room to tuck under the 12” mattress, with about 4” to spare, so if you have a taller mattress, you will not likely be able to tuck. Also, you will not be able to tuck at all if you want to do the old fashioned pillow tuck and fold. Overall, I like the set. You cannot ask for a better 400ct at this price and I will be ordering more sets. Hopefully, they revise to 4 cases for the king.

I like them. But be sure what you want when ordering.
I received a set of these sheets yesterday. Before purchasing, I read many of the comments, both 5-star and 1-star. My first impression was that most people like these sheets, but that so many of the comments were very subjective. As one person pointed out, his "crisp" is my "soft." Some of the reviews caused me to evaluate the sheets before deciding to keep them. I read the box and the insert. They suggested washing before use.All fabrics have filler that can add unpleasant odor and even texture to the fabric. These did smell badly, so into the washer they went. I agree, that the sheets, on arrival, were smelly. One wash took care of it.People complained about loose threads and poor finishing. I did see about 1/4 inch threads that were not cut closely to the stitching. But to complain about it, really? These are not $200 sheets, and if you want that kind of finish work, buy more expensive products. I can clip a couple dozen little threads if they bother me.One person complained that the sheets were really made of microfiber and that it's printed on the box. This is text taken out of context. The box says, "Why COTTON is the BEST CHOICE?" It goes on to compare cotton's good qualities with those of microfiber. See the image to read what the box REALLY says. The sheets do have a sheen to them. It is due to the long staple cotton fibers and the weave of those fibers. The listing says they are sateen. Sateen has a sheen. If you don't want sheen, don't buy sateen. They wrinkle. Of course they do! News flash: Cotton wrinkles. If you want a product that won't wrinkle, buy microfiber! But I will say that they wrinkle far (FAR FAR) less than other cotton sheets I've had.The color was exactly as expected. One person complained that the ivory sheets were not the right shade of off white. Off white, ivory, cream, and other terms are, again, largely subjective. There are many different colorations that fit into off white. One of the great things I noticed immediately after washing--the sheets were cut and sewn on the straight of grain. This means the hemmed edges don't pull on the bias making unsightly and frustrating folds in the hem. Well done! This is rarely the case, and it impresses me. Thank you, California Design Den.I found the sheets to my liking. They were (being subjective) soft and breathable. They came out of the dryer with minimal wrinkles. They fit the bed perfectly.Obviously, I have not had them long enough to speak to issues of pilling or longevity. But if they hold up and don't pill, I'll have new favorite sheets.

Lovely, soft, beautiful sheets
These feel fantastic... We slept on microfiber sheets for ever without thinking twice about it, but when they tore decided to do some research. It's a pretty modest investment to be sleeping in contact with a natural material instead of plastic-based stuff. A drop in the bucket given how much we're exposed to every day, but we persevere. They seem to stay cooler and have a lovely design. They didn't have a particularly strong odor when we opened them up, but I did wash them and put her came out looking as good as when they went in.

Good quality 100% cotton, but size?
Top sheet is too short by quite a bit! 🤨😡My mattress is of medium thickness-no where close to the massive mattresses of today. I do have an adjustable bed. I don't think that should matter, and I don't think it does. The top sheet is too short no matter what position it is in! I think quality control is lacking. That said these are nice sheets, especially for the price. The kind of cotton sheets that get better and softer with each wash. Fairly thick cotton, not too warm or cool. They DID NOT stay in place because because the top sheet is too short (and I have an adjustable bed). If you sleep with sheet untucked and don't mind waking up with your sheet in a ball, or twisted around you in the morning (or middle of the night) then you might sleep well with these. Just didn't work for me. I honestly can't say that I would or wouldn't recommend these sheets. That's why I gave 4 stars. I was going to give 3 but they really are quality cotton sheets at an affordable price. Just poor measurements on the top sheet.

Sizing fit and comfort
Buy these sheets. You won't regret it.I didn't think they would be as soft and easy to snuggle into as they are, especially because of the low piece.I own a couple other sets of California Design Den king sheet sets and I love them for the fit and comfort. They fit on our king size mattress that's extra deep (about 19 inches). The corners stay on as well.BUT this last set I just got in the very light gray color (love) are the best set i own.I m going to order a few more sets.
