Excellent result! Recommended!!
The original one was faulty. Seller dispensed with the need to return and sent me a replacement without question not even requiring me to return the 1st one.At first I thought I had received another dud, but the seller suggested checking playback volume... DOH!! It was all the way down. Turned up and playback. Hurrah! Plugged in the USB stick and followed the instructions to start recording off tape to USB. NOTE: only press the Play/Record button on the back briefly to change from solid green to flashing. Pressing too long does not start the recording (ask me how I know!!).For the first 5-10 minutes I listened to the playback while recording. There was quite some hiss and extraneous noise coming through the earbuds. I was concerned that all this would be recorded along with the actual recording. But no! After the recording was complete, I played the recorded file back on my computer and it was extremely clear - no hiss.I saw some people complaining about the tape not auto-playing the 2nd side. I had no such issue. Upon reaching the end of side 1 there was a brief pause, a click and side 2 started perfectly.100% happy!!

The media could not be loaded. VERY BAD PRODUCT- not working well (please see video)Can’t work right… sound wobbly… stops playing … starts on other side of tape… slows down …. Got it brand new out of the box and won’t work right!!!I tried on 4 different tapes and does the same to all 😪👎I called both numbers on the card (please see picture) and no one answered or called me back

Blast from the past
Update:Battery life is garbage! Only play occasionally and always have “drag”! Change batteries twice a month !Have mot used or tried the conversion process yet.Material feels a bit on the cheaper side, buttons not very sturdy, doors and latches also lack strength and reliability.Volume is also lacking on all modes, stand alone or car connections..Would try another or read and compare reviews. The one I wanted became unavailable so bought this one

Generally works well, but a little finicky
I didn't run into any of the sound or quality issues discussed in some of the other reviews, so I'm pretty pleased overall. I was able to digitize about 20 old cassettes. The audio quality was pretty poor to start with, so I can't really comment on the audio quality of this device (but it didn't seem to make it worse). My only complaint is that it feels cheaply built (not surprising given the low price) and that it didn't work correctly 100% of the time (auto-reverse sometimes failed, recordings sometimes stopped for no reason). Overall, these errors were infrequent enough that I would still recommend this product. Just don't trust it 100% until you confirm the recording.

Get rechargeable batteries
I felt like the batteries died fairly quickly, and it caused a slowing/muddy effect on audio- both playing aloud and when recording to USB. Unfortunately, when I used a plug in cord- I dunno if it was too powerful or what- but it basically baked the insides and it died on me quickly. I think it would have been fine if I used rechargeable batteries and rotated often, and it did work as advertised- just cheaply made.

If you have old irreplaceable cassette tapes that you want to save to MP3s, this does the job.
As the title said, I have a bunch of old cassette tapes from the 70s and 80s that are irreplaceable. I've been wanting to copy them to digital format for a long time, but just didn't know how to. I found this on Amazon a few days ago and gave it a try. While it feels cheaply made, it gets the job done. It's easy to use -- plug a USB thumbdrive into it, play the tape, and you end up with a MP3 file on the thumbdrive. If you want, use Audacity to separate that MP3 file into separate songs. The resulting MP3s suffer from a little wow and flutter, but I don't know if that's caused by this player or the tapes were recorded like that. They are from the 70s and 80s, after all. I successfully saved my priceless old mix tapes to MP3. So I'm a happy customer. :-)

Does not play or convert a Stereo cassette to Stereo MP3
Model: BR608Does good job in converting cassettes to MP3, just converted two old cassettes to MP3, sounds good.Build quality is not that good, not sure how long it will last.Need to try some stereo cassettes & check the quality of MP3. – 09/12/2022 - Tried to convert a stereo cassette to MP3, but it gets converted in Mono mode & not stereo mode. It even does not play in stereo mode when a stereo cassette is played.Disappointed, will have to return it back. Tried to contact the DigitNow (manufacturer) but, no response from them.
