Good grip on phone. Less so on dash vents I suspect. Better that a glued or suction device.

No suction needed
It really holds the phone securely in the vent. I had a suction one briefly and it didn’t work with my phone. The side arms are slightly curved so they gently hug your phone so it doesn’t fall off with a sharp brake. Really pleased with it.
