I purchased this adapter to photograph retail products for sale on my wife’s websites. I found it to be rugged enough for indoor, static use. I haven’t used it more than a handful of times, but the adjusting mechanism seems very good (smoothly adjusting to fit my phone) and the dual adapters (to orient the mount vertically or horizontally) are very good too. I have no complaints. It was interesting to note that the cheap tripod I was going to use had a plastic adapter and was unable to tighten enough for a steady shot. My better tripod, with metal adapter works great. I look forward to many photo sessions with my smartphone camera.

Bought for my son’s tripod. It holds his iPhone 12 mini perfectly, plus has room to accommodate a larger phone or device. It’s quite sturdy and can be easily adjusted in numerous positions. Great value for the money. Highly recommend.

This is a life changer for me as a cam model. It's very adjustable. I dont think the product could last if it was dropped alot, but you should be careful with products like this regardless. It's cheap you have to take care of it like its expensive if you want it to last. I havent had any issues myself. Ive never dropped it. It grips my phone very well. Nothing has come loose. None of the parts have fell off or lost threading. This should fit any smart phone too.

Does exactly what I needed it to do, and fits as it should on the camera tripod I have had for decades. I needed it to hold my iPhone as I made audio and video recordings (separately) for a virtual choir. Worked fine, looks like it will last as long as I need it to.

Awesome holder for my phone to attach to my uni-pod. Just wished they had made the back a bit more solid as it shakes when i try to use it on a make shit bracket that i created to hold my phone in place as I drive around town live streaming hands free. I will do some mods to this one to make it a bit firmer and maybe that might make the camera a bit more stable.

I have used this several times and it works fine. The apparatus is a bit bulky if you leave it attached to your tripod. The gripping mechanism is a screwing device and requires a lot of knob twisting to open and close. That said, it securely holds your phone.
