I have a son who has been battling a heroin addiction for many years. As he fights to remain clean, the testimonies in this book have helped inspire him. This is a lovely supplement to a regular bible. I find myself reading to help me also maintain hope, and gather spiritual guidance specifically directed towards the issue of addiction.

Get ready to change your life! This book offers so much spiritual insight on how to live the life God meant for us to live. I love the specific steps that are easy to follow and understand. It is a book that one can refer to for the rest of their lives. It's a guide on how to live that uses the Bible as a point of reference, but it's not religious. It teaches you how to handle negative feelings and emotions.

If you have ever suffered through addiction or any other Hurts, Hangups or Habits, This is the Bible you need. It's so perfect to translate what Gods says into things that we struggle with everyday. It's very inspiring and I am so glad I purchased this Bible. I actually Purchased two and gave one to a friend who struggles with her own addictions and loves this bible. The little inspirational side notes are awesome too.

Really enjoying it. Good supplement for Christians in AA,.Al Anon, etc. It provides a more meaningful application of the spiritual foundations of AA for believers by applying principles to Bible and spirituality and it is very common sense.

Bought for my son. He really likes it and found a group that uses it in a small mens group. Came on time.

The study is dinamic. The people in my group have different rrcovery needs but the Christian principles aee meeting each persons needs. Dr. Dave and Steve wrote a terrific study that would minister to anyone.
