This is the ONLY dry cat food our cats will eat. We have tried numerous ones previously and occasionally will try to switch them but they end up not eating it so we end up going back to this product.

The food is expensive but my cat likes it and he needs his fluids

My sweet Bones (he was a feral and was nothing but skin and bones when he adopted me!) loves Fancy Feast Broth! He's not fond of pate, nor shreds or the little cubes in other cat food varieties. He will eat the broth off of them and leave a bowl of bits. With Fancy Feast he laps up the whole package! The packer has broth, slivers of chicken and carrots. He cleans his bowl! Great quality!

At her last vet appointment, my cat was prescribed a goopy potassium gel to help boost her potassium levels. My cat has NEVER been willing to eat wet food - she was feral and associates stinky food with a safety risk (it could attract other animals). Whenever I'd try to treat her with a wet food, it ended up being a total bust. So, when I learned I needed to give her a gel-based medicine, I panicked. She's not the sort of cat who'd accept being pilled or having a syringe of goop blobbed into her mouth. I went out and bought some Fancy Feast chicken "gravy lovers" food. She would lick at the food, but would stop as soon as she detected the chunks - so, I did what any reasonable person would do - I bought a case of food and strained all of the chunks out. Ha, it was gross and a bit overboard, but it worked. However, keeping up with the demand for chickeny goop was difficult. I wrote to Fancy Feast and asked if they would provide chunkless goop. They said no, but they recommended the broths product. I was skeptical, because I knew there were chunks in the broths... but, lo and behold, my cat took to the broths like nothing I'd ever seen! She even eats the chunks. It's the darnedest thing!Who ever decided that cat medicine should taste like vanilla is an evil-doer of super-villain proportions, but Fancy Feast Broths (Classic Chicken) was a life saver (literally AND figuratively)!

Package came with some busted open. As soon as I opened the box, the smell was terrible like it rotted. Threw them away.
