This towel holder is great for holding my new luxury throws! It is also the perfect size for the space it needed to fit in.The materials are well made and it is actually very good quality. As for assembly, the instructions are very basic, but that isn't an issue since it is very easy to assemble. It comes with a variety of screws and each piece s labeled with a sticker that makes assembly a breeze. I will mention that when it comes to attaching both 'sides' to the 'base', if you are patient, you can manage to balance each piece and screw in the screws just enough to hold it together so you can grab and install the other side. But if you're not the patient sort, I suggest you ask someone to assist you with holding pieces.The base has pre-drilled holes to attach the sides to it. At first you are going to say the screws that need to go in those holes are too big, or the holes too small .. but this is not the case! The holes are slightly smaller so the screws will 'grab' the wood as they are screwed in.The product comes with a 'L' shaped screwdriver so you won't need any tools. Just follow the directions and you will have a very nice sturdy towel or throw holder for your living space.All in all a great product. I chose to use it for throws, but I'm sure it is great for towels too since that was its intended purpose. As for the weight, it is not too heavy and not too light, just right to make it very sturdy for use.

Edit to my original review below! There were pieces that were messed up in the first one I got but after talking to the company, they sent me a whole new package!! So grateful I am able to use this now for my blankets! I changed from 1 star to 4! Very happy now!Honestly terrible quality. I ordered it a few months ago and finally got around to putting it together. Multiple pieces came in messed up to the point I can’t even put it together. So annoyed.The piece I took a pic of is a wide open home but it supposed to be able to be screwed to the rack. Can’t use it and it’s too late to return. Sucks.

I didn’t pay as much attention to the dimensions as I should have. I got the smaller one- and it is smaller. The middle level isn’t tall enough for a 2nd bath towel to dry without bunching a bit on the base of the rack. I purchased this on sale ~$30 is an okay price for the size/quality, but I wouldn’t purchase this for full price ($45). It’s fairly sturdy so long as you tighten all bolts correctly, the adjustable feet level really well, but the base “wood” isn’t greatest.I’m unsure if I’ll keep this (due to its size not quality), but if the size works for you then this would be a good purchase.
