I recently made the decision to lose weight, so smaller portions for me! I use a whole wheat protein waffle mix and absolutely no problems. I have sprayed it before heating, and it cleans up easily. It's only really dirty around the edges where the spray doesn't get used up with the batter. Never have to spray it more than one time each use. I may try not spraying it the next time and see how it does. I do like that it came with a cleaning brush to get it more clean. This device heats up within one minute and cooks each waffle in 3 minutes. You could go longer to get the waffle darker and it still wouldn't be burnt. I may just purchase more Dash products in the future!

What a great purchase! I've made leftover mashed potato patties, ramen noodles, and french toast using Hawaiian rolls.it works well, be patient it takes a bit to get used to it. i just ordered the dash with two removable plates.

So far I like it - very small, fast, easy to store and use - overall convenient. Still experimenting with the ideal thickness and quantity of batter to use. But seems effective and relatively easy to clean.

Meals don't have to be boring. This item makes it so easy to use. It allows you to put variety in your meals without extra work. It can be used for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Compact and easy to clean. Food does sometimes stick but I have yes to be disappointed by a Dash product.

This is a nice little waffle iron. The waffles cook well in it. It cleans up easily and stores easily because of it’s size.

I just received this item, ordered as a gift for my granddaughter. I already have one and know it is easy to use and a good product. But as is getting to be more and more the case with Amazon shipping, they didn't wrap the product at all and slapped their labels directly to the item box. It now looks less than "new" - like a return item. Plus, in our condo all packages are left on a table in the mail room where anyone can see what the item is and maybe head off with it if something someone likes. I would recommend ordering this product from some other company.
