We initially bought this for our son to use when he was very little for tummy time and now nearly 2 years later we use it as extra padding around the area his plays in. Fora small mat it's not bad and it is easy to clean. I appreciate that it's non-toxic because when our baby was teething he sometimes would grab pieces of it and chew on it. Not that I would let him do that for long, but at least pieces are non-toxic and big enough to not worry he'll choke on this. We did eventually invest in a much larger ( much more expensive) play mat that we use in bedroom, but for a starter play mat that isn't too expensive this was is fine.

The smaller cutout pieces eventually do not stay put and can be a choking hazard. Stopped using them due to that and baby no longer stays put on a mat anyway.

Great color, durable to falls and milk spills. Great purchase but the ends rarely stayed up.

We ordered what's pictured above, the blue/beige color with dinosaur designs on it. What we received was some other random colorful mat with fruit piece design on them, with a random number of 10 square pieces, and none of the end pieces. We have returned it, and hoping to hear from the seller that if we were to order this again, we would receive the right product this time.
