Based on the already popular International Track & Field series, this version sees the usual array of events and the addition of some new ones. Test your skill at the ever-impossible 100-Meter Dash (this is the same for every track and field game) or the more unusual Pole Vault or Horizontal Bar event. The game can be very competitive at times, and you have to perform to your best ability in an attempt to get placed. Every event has a different technique to it and, once mastered, makes the game a lot more enjoyable, however frustrating it might have been at the beginning. ESPN International Track & Field is on par with Sydney 2000 by Eidos and Virtua Athlete, each of which offers you an array of different events.
