I have had this dash cam for about 4 days now. Here are my thoughts. The mounting of the cam was like no other-very sleek and flush, clean and OEM like. I love it. The sticky part is meant to stay. So once its on the windshield, good luck getting it off! That's a great thing though, no worries on the cam falling off, even in hot weather. The 170 degree lens gets the whole view of the front, even even the left and right sides. You truly are not going to miss a moment with using this camera. The downside to such a lens is that it makes everything appear to be much further away than what it really is. I could be 2 feet from the rear bumper of the car in front of me but it appears on video that I'm 10 or so feet away. This may create issues if there's ever an event of someone cutting you off causing an accident. Overall the cons and pros of the 170 degree lens is worth it. Wiring the camera was a breeze, you must fully understand how to wire up things in cars. I have had experience doing this in the past, you must find a fuse slot that is active when the car is off, and a fuse slot that is only active when the car is on. Then you must find a common ground, which is not hard at all. The kit comes with a little tool to tuck the wires into the headliner and pillars. It helps a lot, without it I probably would have damaged my car a bit. Make sure you buy a class 6 or higher micro SD card. One issue I can not figure out for the life of me is how to get the camera to record motion when the car is off. It simply will not work. I have activated the motion detection under my phone...just does not work. Overall it is well worth it.

The media could not be loaded.  I bought this one month ago, preparing a summer vacation trip.There is a little work to install which needs to open the fuse box and find out the correct VCC/B+. Once you finish it you will appreciate this design. Wires could be hidden in the cover trim (a tool in the package can help to open the trim) and you save the cigar lighter for other usage. This dash camera will start/stop recording automatically when you start/stop the engine. You can also turn on the motion detection when car is off.The IOS app is easy to use. After open the app it will connect to the camera automatically and sync the time.The full HD video quality is amazing. A 32G card can save about 6 hours full HD video, 1 minute per video file. Once it's full the oldest one will be overwritten.

After looking over the "owner's manual", it took a little doing to install the wiring. But being a retired Electronics Tech, it was easy peasy, EXCEPT getting to the fuse block on a 2017 Jeep Renegade! I had to go to YouTube to find a video that showed how to locate the fuse block and another search for the wiring of which fuses are which! Once I located the fuses needed to replace for the camera, it was a cinch. All the cables I was able to tuck under the molding around the windshield and down to underneath to the fuse block. The "Final Cam" app for the Android phones was easy enough by scanning the code and downloading the app to my cellphone and installing it! Go to settings for your phone and look for the "CARDV_819dd4" or similar is the wifi network name for the camera. Click on it to connect the phone to the camera...I "road tested" this camera and it works great! The video in "real time" is very clear and playback from the files recorded on the memory card is nice for "the record"!

First I must say, this is not for the faint of heart to install. If you are not comfortable wiring your own car (car stereos, off road equipment, Etc...) might want to pass or hire a car stereo company / professional to install this product. It is not a simple Plug and Play device in the cigarette adapter, you have to hardwire this into your vehicle. Install is easy and pretty straight-forward if you know what you're doing (Ground, (ACC On, & BAT+ composite video out). With that said, excellent product. The video is crisp and clear day and night, no flutters, flashes or streaks, 1080 HD Res. The interface transfer software is easy and intuitive to use. Definitely get a microSD card for expansion, avrage 5min video 150Mb+. When installed looks like it has always belonged. Will be installing this on my other vehicles. Great product.

Well, just received it today. Set up was easy. Running the wire is slightly hard, do to the thickness of the wire. But just have ur fuse box diagram ready, switch the appropriate fuse, with the one from the cam. Took me all of 30 mins to have it up and running. Hopefully the Florida sun will not kill it, like my old dash cam. I will update in a couple weeks, to let you know how it performs.My only dislike is the silver ring around the lens area, if it is supposed to be stealth, i think the ring should be black.

You can't beat this product for the price! Easy installation simple setup and it just works.Installation Tips:1. Do yourself a favor and order the correct fuse tap for your vehicle. For only a few dollars this is that fastest and safest way to connect this device to your vehicles Power and Accessories Power.2. When you connect the camera to the wiring, take a small piece of electrical tape and tape both plugs together. This will prevent them from wiggling loose over time.3. This was a personal preference: Use a black Sharpe to color in the silver around the lens. This will make the unit much less visible from outside the vehicle.4. Don't forget to insert the memory card before mounting, it could be a pain to get to once the camera is mounted4. Before you stick this to your window!!! Make sure you test the view to be sure there is nothing obstructing the camera. The lens can see farther to the right and left than you think. My first attempt I thought I was in the clear however the mount to my rear view mirror could be seen.5. Clean the window before applying. I used a small amount of rubbing alcohol on a Q-Tip to clean the surface then applied.Also emailed the company and they were quick to respond and very helpful! I would and will be buying from them again!
