If you wish to wash it, use distilled water, and do not scrub. You can destroy the electrodes very easily if you touch them, or attempt to wash them. Do not use soap or any detergent. Allow the plate to thoroughly dry before placing back in the machine,

Q: Is there any kind of warranty on this replacement plate? Bought it, installed it and lasted a total of 4 hours.
