This is a great and affordable home security system. I really love the ease of setting it up. The door sensors seem very low quality but seems to get the job done. My only complaint is that one of my window/door sensor did not work right out of the box like the other 4 did. Hopefully the seller can help me fix this issue. I will update my review when this is resolved.Update 6/7/17:It's been less than a week and my base station is starting to act weird. The alarm does not go off right away then sensors are triggered. The base station would repeat that a sensor is triggered twice before it would alarm unlike when I first installed it. I did not set a delay for the alarm to go off. I really want to like this product. One of my door sensors is still defective.Update 6/9/17:It's been only one week and the base is currently not operational. It just flashes red and won't connect to the app. I am very disappointed and will be returning this product.Update 6/20/17Issues have been resolved. Seller was kind enough to send replacements for defective sensor and base station. Everything is currently working well. Thank you, Gaze Security!

Good smart alarm system. All of the components are easy to install. The instructions provide good direction on how high to place the motion sensors and they couldn't be more spot on. They have a very good range and can easily detect motion from over 20ft away both in lit and dark conditions. The door/window sensors seem to work well as well. The app can be a bit spotty. I use the Android app and now that I'm more familiar with it, I can say it easily works 85-90% of the time (make sure you make this app unmonitored in battery optimization if you have a Samsung device) but outside of the few minor annoyances I seemed to resolve on my own, the app works well. You can control the system remotely and get notifications; I thoroughly tested both. Yes, I could've just got ADT but I got enough monthly expenses right now; this works as a good cost efficient alternative.

I like it but I don't. The app was easy to use, hooking up was easy, the motion detectors are awesome, they work from a good distance away. It won't stay connected to the WiFi. It's on for about 20 minutes then off again. I also didn't like the voice telling you an alarm is going to go off, before it does. I feel like an intruder to go and disable the device, before it even works. So I tried logging in and found the setting and the volume control and I thought I just turned down the voice and left the volume up but when I tested it, there was no voice and no alarm. But the notifications on my phone where telling me the alarms were going off, so I tried disarming but it disconnected from Wifi again with the alarms going off!!!!! I had to go to work, on my way to work my phone was still getting notice that the alarms are going off. The battery back up keeps it going after you unplug it trying to make this thing stooooooooooooopppppppppppp. Geez the things I get myself into. I hope one day I can write a better review.

Manual is confusing, wifi set-up instructions are ambiguous and tech support is non-existent. But ultimately got it set-up by tinkering with the order of wifi steps. Otherwise works as described.

I've had this system for 1-2 months and my takeaway is that it does what it says. It doesn't do it very well, but it does it. I have 3 dogs, only one of which is larger than 50 lbs. The motion sensors are very sensitive and I'm having trouble finding a place to put them without dogs setting them off. I've even put them up high out of the way and dogs still end up setting them off. Even the smaller dogs.The door sensors work great. I had one door sensor stop sending a signal about a week ago to the central unit and wouldn't alarm or anything when tripped. I reached up with my hand and when my hand was near it, it would work. I replaced it with an extra that I had. May have been a battery, but that was fast if it was.Now, the alarm. The alarm is not very loud at all. I cannot hear it outside when standing at my front door. The unit is about 10 feet unblocked view to the front door. I have thought about getting a siren for outside but I'm worried about getting it and getting a bunch of false alarms like I have been getting. Maybe I will get this thing to work the way I like, but so far not.The app is terrible. The app takes a long time to load up to disarm an annoying (annoying, when inside, but won't scare off intruders) alarm that was accidentally set off. You can change the names of the sensors and zones, but it doesnt really help when you get an alarm because the alarm will still say the zone number and won't say what you changed it to. I wish it tild you which sensor tripped to so I knew what camera (separate system) to check. This app also doesn't allow you to change the notification sound, so you have to change your notification sound on the phone which will be the same for all apps (unless you can change them in the app which isnt the case for a lot). This gets annoying because you can hear a beep and it could be this or an email or something else. I wish I could set this to have a loud alarm so I could hear it and check it right away, but I dont want that annoying loud alarm for an email or anything. Maybe if you have a phone line and use that, it might work a little better.Overall, this system can work for some, but not for others. I would have sent this in, but the deadline came and passed before doing a full review of the system. I hate sending something in before getting kinks worked out which something like this will have in most cases. I hate giving things bad reviews.
