Q: What is the maximum design operating pressure for this valve? Can I use it with my home water softener at 60/70 psi?

they are tested at 75 psi, but operating pressure is 30-35 psi. If you operate at high pressures, in the long run they will have issues. I use it on my irrigation system at 50 psi, without a problem. but yet to see how it will fair out after a few years.

Q: I want to use 2 of them as a by pass for clorinator, anotherwards when I service my clortinator can I derert water around as to uninstall clorinator

you can. buy i think if your chlorinator gives you that many problems, change out the chloriator

Q: I’m looking for something to send water from sand filter to pool slide when my grandkids are swimming will this work ?

The valve will work for that. The valve can be turned to feed one port or the other or part way to feed both. I used mine to divert water to a pool sprinkler to cool the water if it gets to warm. Running the pipe and making a good looking installation may be a little tough depending on location of pool equip and slide.

can I use this under kitchen sink? I want to be able to control where the water flows from sink drain. One has to close while the other opens
