Good Product but could use some upgrades
Bought this for the three-point hitch on my side by side. The metal is a soft metal for the rippers. I took them and had them hardened and tempered. I then hard faced the ripper tips and the blade for the drag box. Make yourself a templet for the edge and tips. I have had extra tips made and an edge from hardened steel for when these wear out. It would be better if they had a way to add extra weight to the edge and rippers. I fabricated a box that hangs off the back of the blade so that I could add weight as needed. After my adjustments this works great. But I also understand that if the manufacturer did these upgrades that I have done the price would jump significantly. I am lucky enough that I have the ability to do all these myself.

Scrape this!!
The box scraper was very easy to assemble if you have any mechanical experience. I’m still not sure about the main body steel strength but the teeth are solid steel which is very good. I did have to adapt it to my 1954 40S John Deere tractor three point hitch. I used 3/4in. Pex tubing for bushings and they worked great. I have used it on my 300 ft. Driveway and it was a little light weight but did work very well. I did buy the extended warranty in case I do need to replace something. I’ll let you know how it holds up to some future work, thanks. Well I tried this box scraper on my 330ft. driveway and the main issue I had was four of the six tines bent. I was surprised that they bent on the first day I used them. I reached out to the vendor with no reply so I filed a claim with the extended warranty Asurion. They are now reviewing my claim and I just want the tines replaced. I’ll let you know how it goes,.

For the money not too bad
I bought this rake strictly for the fight against kudzu and other vines growing on the property of the house we just bought in the mountains of Northeast Alabama. Running it on an old Kubota B2400 HST. Put it together in about 30 minutes total by myself ( I’m an old guy good with tools). LUCKILY I have a good selection of wrenches because whoever did their last bolt purchase managed to get mostly 3/4 inch bolts but apparently was short and I ended up with two 25/32 inch bolts to finish the hookup to the hitch part. Finally tried it out for about 20 minutes on the embankment on one side of the property. Uprooted and drug out the kudzu there with no issues, rake tines didn’t bend hitting the big chunks of rock. First use it seems sturdy enough for what I bought it for and about a quarter of the price the Kubota dealer quoted me for their comparable attachment. Time will tell how sturdy it is the more I use it.

Teeth bent on first use
The teeth are soft steel and bent on first use. I was just lightly scarifying a dirt field.

Better than expected.
Bought this for my old JD 430 with a class 0 3-point hitch. Works perfectly for grading my dirt road and drive. Much heavier than expected.

Think outside the box (Updated)
The media could not be loaded. UPDATED 04/08/25 - This scraper is still punching above its weight class. I have moved literal mountains of gravel, dirt and crushed asphalt with it and I couldn't be happier with this purchase.I needed something to maintain a quarter mile driveway that consists of crushed asphalt, siftings and gravel. I don't have a tractor ATM and the ATV is busted, so I had to think "outside the box". I used a Kolpin Heavy-Duty 3-Point Hitch System to hook the MotoAlliance CAT-0 Box Scraper to my old Wrangler....and all I can say is "Wow!". I did not expect this box scraper to be as tough as it is. So far I have moved piles of dirt, relocated a ton of crushed asphalt, leveled the driveway, and started cutting a drainage ditch in the back of the property...and the Scraper has held up remarkably well. It looks like my tractor purchase is going to be put on hold for a while.

Poor engineering and product
Bought this to do some light arena work behind my ATV. Well after 2.5 hours I was able to finally get it together because the instructions were piss poor at best. Also had to drill out most holes to make them line up to get the bolts thru and the bracket on the 3 point connection where the brace is supposed to go yeah hard to put that on when there was legit no hole whatsoever so had to get out my heavy drill, bit and oil and drill for the bolt . After all of that used it to mediocre results. Definitely requires extra weight which I had to strap on an old utility pole I had with cargo straps because there is no try for weight to be added. A lot of headache for something that cost so much. Unless you're trying to turn sand don't even think of buying it.

Not a bad little box scraper
So first off the install was fairly straight forward. The instructions could have been a little bit more clear but anyone that is half mechanically inclined shouldn't have a problem. My tractor has a cat 1 hitch so I swapped out the pins. I think that the shipping weight was around 130 pounds so my FedEx guy was super impressed. That being said it is fairly light. And my ground being rocky and packed it likes to hope and skip over high packed areas. I had the tines down almost as far as they would go and never had a problem. It is fairly small in hight and in depth compared to some of the more expensive versions out there. But as of so far it has held up nice and is perfect for my needs. I mainly got it to help maintain a drive way and move snow.
