BIZ - CRB-80575225525 Biz Laundry Detergent Powder Booster, Stain & Odor Removal - 50 Ounces

Arrived promptly, decently packaged against spills. I have discovered BIZ some 25 years ago, and the formula is still the same and it still works like magic. It is enzyme-based and is gentle, but effective. I use it to pre-soak “greying” or soiled whites. With enough hours of soak time and a couple of water changes, the water runs grey and the fabric becomes white. Great product.

IMO Biz is a far superior product than oxi clean, I wish my local grocery stores sold it. Thankfully Amazon carries it.

Great for soaking stains

I think it was my mother-in-law who turned me on to Biz many years ago. It gets things clearer than detergent alone, and has excellent stain-removal qualities. I have never known it to fade a color, and it does seem to brighten whites. I like that it's not packaged in plastic, too.

I made my own detergent. I have a big jar for each of baking soda, washing soda, borax, bix/oxy clean and foca/washing flakes.I used to put it in a big bin, but I have learned to stop doing that so I can customize each load of laundry. My husband uses a tablespoon of each and all his work wear comes out wonderfully crisp and clean. Biz is like a laundry enzyme. I mix it with oxyclean so it's 50/50. I love this stuff on towels or blankets. Works great if you put a cup in a bathtub of hotbwater and throw your stuff in and let soak for hours. Insane.

The product is great for reliable pre-soak and for overall whitening it's hard to beat. shipping the product with only thin cling plastic on it is just plain dumb. Of course the box was damaged and leaking powdered product from mailbox to home. This product, like any powdered or liquid demands an overpack. Don't you agree?

I have used Biz for years. It makes an enormous difference in how much dirt gets held in suspension so it doesn't redeposit while washing. I want it in powder form to avoid putting more plastic into the environment, but I can't find it that way in any local stores. Unfortunately, in its shipment, a significant amount of the powder leaked from the box. The product itself gets five stars, but the leakage drops my score by one.
