Q: How does it hold up outdoors? In the rain and the sun?

I think it holds up very well. I have mine right out in the sun and it is very cute and does not fade. It is also sturdy and I love the look on his face!

Q: Could I weight the frog down with pebbles in the bottom hole?

We've had 2 of these frogs. He sits on the top of a brick plinth at our driveway entrance. My husband doesn't think there is a hole big enough to put pebbles in but the frog has survived very strong storms and close tornadoes. We did get a second one because the first one had fallen off and broken one time (though we suspect a bird was to blame and not storms). The second one also has a hole caused from falling off (again we don't suspect storms). We take the risk for the price of the frog. It's pretty sturdy without the pebbles. Hope this helps!

Mine doesn't need batteries or light up, and he's too cute to scare anyone away :)

Q: can it be drilled to make a table lamp ?

recommend testing something else made from resin or google how to do it,but got for it! It would certainly make an adorable lamp , just so whimsical!!
