There is a flush liquid they sell. It's a chemical solvent that smells very much like brake cleaner. It comes in a quart can. How much you need is dependant on the size of your system. I used it to flush the lines and evaporator of a car. One quart was plenty. You flush until it comes out clean. Then blow air through to speed evaporation.
