Despicable Me Minion Made Kerplunk

My 5yo nephew LOVES minions and his parents are encouraging him to play more board games. This was a great hit, fun and easy to play, easy to set up all with the minion look he was after

Bought this as a gift for my nephew and we all ended up loving it. Started coming up with strategies to pass the minions to other sticks on the way out of the tube. We weren't really sure if it was against the rules, but it made us get creative and we all enjoyed it.

My kids love this game. Easy to set up and play. The only thing is the ‘spinner’ at the top doesn’t really spin all that much but it’s not that big of a deal. Lots of fun.

I bought this for my small grandchildren and we play it every time I go there. My granddaughter gets so excited when she gets a bunch of minions to fall. I don't have the heart to explain to a 3-year-old that the rules for winning are opposite. Also, we play pixie sticks with it too, so it serves as two games in one. Bonus is that you can store everything inside and get rid of the bulky box. Could make a fun drinking game for adults too... Who doesn't love minions?

Super fun game! I was surprised with how fun it is. Only drawback is you have to completely break it down and disassemble it after use to fit into box.

It was still fun, but there are some issues with it. It can't be put away assembled, so you have to either find a new box for it, or take it apart each time. The spinner doesn't work well, and it's hard to see the colors inside. The stick slip out very easily. We left the top of the game off and just passed the spinner around, as we were afraid that putting it on (snaps in tight) or spinning it would knock down minions during the game. We still had fun, but we prefer regular Kerplunk or the Tumblin' Monkeys version.

I purchased this game for my nephews ( 2 1/2 & 4 1/2) and they absolutely loved it. We played it for hours! It’s not made as sturdy as the original game of Kerplunk I played with as a kid, but the boys didn’t seem to notice and we all enjoyed it. My nephews loveee minions and definitely loved that there were minions instead of marbles like the original game. I would definitely recommend!

I bought this as a Christmas present for my 6 year old. I saw something similar a few years ago and knew my daughter would enjoy it. I struggled to get it worth playing. You have to arrange the sticks well enough to make the minions stay (they are very small and have hooks like monkeys in a can). The spinner doesn't spin well. The game play is extremely short considering the effort it takes to set it up. Very disappointed. We played two or three games Christmas day and probably won't be playing it regularly.

Fun variation on the classic game that improves the gameplay.Not as durable as the original with cheaper plastics, but just about fit for purpose.
