Very nice set. It came very sharp. Seems to be made with care and quality. I recommend it. I especially was happy for the gloves. And it comes in a nice roll up case.

If you are serious about carving a pocket knife won't do. Remains to be seen how sharp the blades are and will remain. Because they are stainless steel.

These are very sharp and make great beginner set. the gloves included are not the best but they do work.

I'm very impressed with the quality and edges of these blades, I carve realistic wildlife and for fine work this set is excellent.

They are a pair of garden gloves at best. My son was using them with the faith that they were cut-proof. He ended up cutting his pointer finger pretty badly. I wholeheartedly suggest purchasing safer whittling gloves to avoid injury. The tools are good quality however.

My husband has been wanting to pick up whittling for a while. I bought this set along with some wood pieces as a surprise for a date night activity. I have never carved anything in my life and these tools were so easy to work with. I bought these for my husband but I myself am thinking about picking up whittling now because these make it so easy and it's great for beginners.
