I don’t usually use it much but great device. Good colour accuracy and colour range of the screen. Good battery life too. And it’s thinner than my phone and feels comfortable to hold. Good camera for capturing documents, touch is smooth, speakers are surprisingly really good, no flashlight though, if someone wants to know. The camera bump is a little annoying. For me, this Tab is more of a leisure gadget, for web surfing, games, movies, netflix, social medias, music, you name it; and it’s really amazing at it. It’s not like it can do what a phone or a laptop can’t but it can’t replace the functionality of either.

It's the perfect middle tier product between the 2021 iPad & 2021 iPad pro. The power of the M1 chip & 8gb of RAM is a perfect combination. I use it primarily as my portable drawing tablet and for that I would highly recommend the product.1. The screen quality & resolution is excellent.2. Well rounded battery life - gave me around 8.5 to 9 hrs of batter life.3. The storage might be the only concern for the majority considering this one. But for my workflow as an artist the 64gb was well enough. Duely note that my use is only for art & this don't have very hefty files. This might not be the same for all.Even though one could get a Samsung tablet with a stylus in the box, a better screen & lot more, i would still recommend the iPad air 5th gen as it a solid, well rounded, compact tablet.

Why this model? This is the cheapest one that can be connected to an external display covering the full display. Simple mirroring does not cover the wide screen presentation. It works. The multiple windows, copy paste between works wonderfully. The USB port on this is very fast 10gbps but you need to use external drives cable. The included charging cable is only USB 2.0. Everything else works fine and as it has M1, I expect it remain responsive for quite a while. Camera is more than good enough for video call and occasional snap or document scanning. I am using a mechanical usb keyboard. May need a travel keyboard later. It is a great travelling computer for office work, especially if you get a larger monitor where you are going. It is already over my purchase power (including Applecare +) but if I had more, I would have gone for 256GB version. As it is only 64GB, I have subscribed to iCloud 50gb option, keeping most things in the cloud. So far I am under 25GB on the hard disk including Minecraft, several writing and drawing program.

This is top notch for students and most of people.. been using it for almost 2 years and haven’t encountered any lag . 100 to 0% SOT 13+hours .. only thing i miss is amoled display . Because whenever you watch movies theres usually big black areas on top and bottom , it would’ve been great to have amoled but i know its in pros . Overall great purchase for 50k-60k(use iCloud). Using ZUGU case and thats great too with ESR tempred from the very start

Prossersor is so good but the 60hz screen refresh rate limits it's performance at some point , anyway rest is fine.You also get a type c to c charger which is quite fast and the battery life is good enough to handle your series addiction.Media player experience is outstanding.

Writing after two Weeks of use. I love this beautiful beast with M1 chip set. Performance is way beyond what I expected. Battery backup is really awesome, I need to charge it once in 3 days of ideal use as student. Screen quality is amazing with liquid ratina display. Speaker is loud and clear could be better. I loved the centre stage feature as it automatically takes you in the frame while on video call.An update after one year usage now and everything works perfectly fine without any issue.
