1st off, I live in Phoenix AZ. It gets a tan warm here! Haha!! Really blistering heat! Originally bought this to use on a cruise. And it worked awesomely!! Great packability, tall enough to place at the foot of bed & be high enough for me to feel it. Was able to oscillate over 1/2 of our carnival cruise balcony room as well as an interior cruise the next year! Great breeze even on lowest level. Noise was not too bad. Like any other plug in fan I've used. Charged lasted a full 8 hrs on medium. Can also be used plugged in while charging!I also used this while being outside in downtown Tempe AZ during a concert I was volunteering at. Sitting in the 110°F heat under a canopy from 11am-10pm & this little buddy of mine kept up on medium setting the whole time. Just moved the hot air around but at least it was a breeze! Battery area did get very warm. But it never over heated or smelled like it was burning. And I've used it about 6 times since & still works great. Still hold a charge. This is an amazing powerhouse fan!!

I've had this fan for 2 years and its fabulous. Adjustable height, folds up to a very small disk for storing. Never fails. I've noticed that in recent years lots of fans have cheap blades that lose their curve and spin without projecting any air after a short time. Not these little wonders. Quiet, efficient, I tend to leave it running non stop all summer. Never had to use the 2 higher speeds. The BEST!

Love that its chargeable, (great for Hurricane season ) and that you can put it on a desk at work, or extend it to stand on the ground , very quiet and powerful and that's what I need when I'm working on a client. Other co-workers have bought one too.

I liked the design and ordered the first one for my husband. That was a couple of months ago. I then decided to get one for myself. These small fans are always cheaply made these days so you hope for the best. I love the fact that it can be a floor fan or a desk fan. It’s lightweight and easy to use. It’s powerful for its size. I keep it on low at my bedside and it’s perfect. I don’t know what people expect to get for the price and I think you get your money worth. If it lasts all summer it it had a good run for what you pay for it.UPDATE: the fan seemed to die…it wouldn’t charge and stayed at 30%. Came back to my review to update when I happened to see another post. Another customer said he changed the charging cord; that was my problem also. It’s now charging past the 30% mark and is working… for now. I will be happy if it lasts for the summer.UPDATE: here it is mid September and it’s still going strong. I wish it came apart for cleaning…Qtips just don’t cut it. Not to mention the fan is no longer available from this seller.

I bought this fan a little over a year ago to replace the As Seen on TV one that didn't last half as long. I live in motels 90% of the time (travel for work). Can't sleep without a fan on my feet. This one worked amazingly well. Very good air flow, Not too noisy, not too quiet. And it still works if I shake it just right. It seems to have a bad connection in the base. I'll get it apart and try to fix it. But I've already ordered a replacement. This time I went with a more advanced model with Type-C, ambient lighting and a remote. A lot more money and a more well known manufacturer. I'm giving 5 stars because I never expected this fan to last over a year. Being able to sleep at night for a year is worth every penny and it stows in my travel bag with ease. Definitely recommend.

pack it away in your suit case and take it with you on your vacations - this units was a life saver for my wife and I, seating out on the balcony (having a cigar) when there's no breeze (and our hotel didn't have an outlet to plug anything in outside), so a battery operated Fan, adjustable to what ever height we want, was the perfect solution and it worked awesome - never ran out of juice, so not sure how long Batteries last on full charge, but 2-3 hours was not an issue, and I would plug it in before we left the room for next night - only used it outside on Balcony as other years, it can bee too hot to sit out, if there's no breeze, specially at night

I used this for traveling a couple of times, and then had it just sitting on my desk. It ran fine no problem, then I turned it off and now it won't turn on, won't take a charge, just a $50.00 paperweight. Of course it worked just long enough for the return window to shut. The FAQs says if this happens to you unhook the battery, or replace the battery. I tried to follow the instructions only to find the battery wires are soldered. Really disappointed. Thought I'd made a great purchase, but it was a real waste of money.
