Q: What are the dimensions?

This is model 38194, with capacity 0.4 at. Including the cap, the feeder is about 9 inches tall. Tube diameter is about 2.25 inches. Diameter of the base is about 4.25 inches; the cap diameter is a bit more than 4.5 inches.

Q: Can a seed tray be attached?

With a little engineering a seed tray could be attached. It would need to be removable if you want to clean the feeder. BTW, this is the best engineered feeder I ever saw.

Q: Does anyone have problems with sparrows eating from this feeder?

I did and it was very frustrating because I have a No No cardinal feeder with safflower and the sparrows would try to eat there and most of the food went on the ground;, because sparrows don't really like safflower...and I have a main feeder for other birds mainly sparrows; they're chow hounds. The Stokes feeder (and I also bought the bigger one like this) was mainly for the goldfinches and the hogging sparrows kept the goldfinches away. I ended up buying the plastic one where finches eat upside down because sparrows can't do it. It needs a little more TLC and cleaned but at least the goldfinch's can get their nyger.

Q: Can this be pole mounted or it has to hang?

It is a very small feeder that I do not think would work well on a pole...hangs nicely from a shepards hook. Very light weight so basically hangs easily anywhere.
